**end of the line**

I firmly believe in postive affirmations :)

When I was a kid, I stuttered, badly. The speech therapist I went to had me write positive affirmations and put them on my bathroom mirror - where you never actually need to look at them, but you see them out of the corner of your eye (especially if they're on colored paper).

I wrote things like "I speak well in front of people." "People enjoy hearing what I have to say". etc.

Years later, bob said he figured out why I never stop talking - I thoroughly convinced myself I speak well in front of people ;)

The speech therapist said always keep it positive, to not say things like "I will not stutter" since the mind remembers, "I stutter"

So, your positive comments (all three if you break down the sentence) are PERFECT! :)

Good Morning, How is your weekend going ??? Positive affirmations do work, Im with M2M, I believe in them and hte effects they can have.

thats what i wish i could do. buy a bikini and see what i dont want to... maybe it will change things. good luck. i need a better scale as well. good luck on weigh-in day tomorrow!

i jumped on the scale today and was 156 in the morning....it's ok...i didn't do my cardio in 2 days but kept up with the yoga--i think that is what is slowing my weight loss down..but building the muscle i need....hopefully we will see some type of improvement tomorrow...since Im done with my period today...

also...it could be my new weight watchers scale is working better than my analog scale...the old one may have been lying to me! oh well this week will show improvement hopefully!!

its good to take all big changes slowly. good thinking. you can do it, and we'll help. youre not in it alone

thanx guys!...

hi guys!!! sooo sooo sorry i havent been on in a while but it is all for wonderful reasons!

1) I have stopped night time eating!
2) I have just yesterday started studying for my big test (the one I was afraid of and procrastinating for)
3) I am working like crzy to show my work that I am a good employee (I got a kind of a bad report for my first six month review)
4) I am trying like crzy to do my elliptical at lunch time (saves me an hour after work to study!!! I need it!)
5) I am trying to go to yoga every day after work (1.5 hrs!).

for the good news--I weighed in yesterday and after 5 days of not eating at night time I saw a big difference in the scales! I think I am down to 154!!! but I'm not changing my ticker or weight on the new years challenge until next weigh in on monday =-)

also...checked my measurements and i have lost about a half an inch almost everywhere since I started yoga last month! woot!!! almost at 150!!!

the only sad part of getting my life together (and this will only hold for these two weeks before my big exam (GMAT)) is that I havent been able to update and post on your journals...please accept my apology...I literally only have the weekends and a few mins. during the week to check my email!!! but I promise that I will be able to check up on you guys more often!!!

FOOD:

lunch @ work handful of tortellini/cheese (200), a bite of garlic bread, spoonful of lasagna (100)
lunch: ceaser salad 100, balsamic/oil salad: 100

dinner: sandwich @ home

excersize: yoga only =-( due to work

my life for the next two weeks is as follows:

work
gym @ lunch
work till 5
yoga till 7
study from 8-12am
sleep
start all over!
