**end of the line**

Hi FS!! Have a great day!! :D:D
And yeah bummer on the yoga - but it is great strength & stretch training so stick with it!:D

Howdy,
That sounds like good advice I do 3 meals
averaging 250-350 cals and 2 snacks and it does help with
hunger I try to get my last snack in around 7pm and no
eating after 8pm! Well goodluck and I am sure the scale
will be on yourside tomorrow.:)
I do something similar, about 300 for breaky, 300 for lunch (i do lunch early though) then another 100-200 for afternoon tea, pretty much the rest of my calories on dinner except for 100ish i save for right before bed so i can sleep (often a glass of milk)

Keep up the good work FS!

good tuesday...WISH IT WERE FRIDAY...

but...

weighed in this morning...nope...still 154--funny thing is that the gym scale says im 153 ah well...as mal said, im on a downhill road...even though there are high's and low's on the road its still all downhill!! hey...at least i'm not still at 158...jeezus that lasted for like 2 months! but...i still have a deadline to make and i want to try hard 2 stick with it.... i've allowed myself 4 weeks xtra just in case...but i dont want to use up all the time at the very beginning! anyways...my cure for the slowdown is an increase in excersize...so...

today: went to the gym @ lunch...my multimedia plyr died/i had to get back 2 work so i only lost 170 cals...

-will go to yoga today...(i didnt yesterday...) so i am expecting a very tired me in the afternoon...i kinda wanna go out 2 dinner...wonton soup?! yum...

FOOD:
b: 1 Bag baked doritos: 170
lunch: english muffin w/ spread?? 200 cals
dinner: wonton soup!?!

YUM your food looks good and sounds good...you dont punch your b/f out when he sys no to you and wanting to eat somethign, LOL...Just droppin in to look around and say hi...

Howdy FS,
Looks like your having a great day! Maybe stay away
from the scale until weigh in day just for 1 week and see what happeneds!
I know it is hard yesterday was the 1st day in a while that I didn't hop on the scale so I wouldn't get discouraged I know I have been eating right and exerscing and I didn't need the scale to ruin my day!
Anyway keep up the great work and "YUM" to your menue! Tammy:)

hey tammy, you may b right...at the beginning i wanted to weigh in everyday so i would b more motivated...and it worked...but i think all the water weight is off and i am learning to kick my over eating habit...so maybe i can try the 1 weigh in a week thing...but i really am not likin my digital scale...i think it weighs me in higher than my analog...which is good for accuracy...bad for motivation!

Don't let the numbers get you down though - those daily fluctuations are NORMAl :)

Find what works best and stick to it, I know I haven't been weighing in nearly as often as I used to!

What you're actually doing - the food and the exercise and the attitude - sounds GREAT! That's what will get you there! :)

thanx guys =-)

well yesterday went well, i don't know whether it was the tempting weekend, but its getting harder to stay ontop of my healthy eating again...fun rollercoaster isn't it?!?!?!

but i think if i keep fighting my cravings they will eventually calm themselves --as my yoga instructor told me: "the distractions in your life you can never get rid of, but--you can quiet them down" he was talking about stress of course, but it is true for almost all aspects of your life.

I made a recorded note to myself yesterday that all I have to remember is that "it's only hard to do because I'm making it into a bigger deal than it really is" i'm not going to die if i don't get my craving "fix" late at night and the world won't come to an end either!

to beat the craving is the name of the game, EVERYDAY.

so....back to today:

excersize: lunch workout on elliptical: 400 cals

yoga after work: 500

FOOD:

Brkfst: english muffin: 120
Lunch: 200 cals of ???
3:30 pm--200 cals of ???

Dinner: 500 cals of ??

Wow you must have an intense yoga class. I only burn about 140 cals with mine! I love your pep talk! i give those to myself!!:D

Howdy Goodluck with class and trust me the cravings do get better
with time and fight! Have a nice day,Tammy:)

it is a very intense class...1.5 hrs long and it is a vineyasa flow class = hot & strength building

WOW...I was just gonna ask abt htis...I have a Yoga tape I do it is conditioning nad it flows, it is kinda hard...and I only burn 300...when I read your post I was like WOW...what kinda Yoga are you doing to burn 500 cals...Do you liek the hot yoga ???

I just love reading your diary!! :D You really have a way of hitting the nail on the head!! I think you will be in that 2 piece in no time and be teaching the yoga class yourself!!!

lol...you guys are awsome!!! you definitely put a smile on my face and let me know that I should stop worrying about losing weight and just focus on doing it!!!

well, since some of you guys are interested...

these are the details of my yoga class (p.s. wachee....I sometimes remind the teacher of what moves come next b/c he forgets!!!):

it is called VINYASA FLOW yoga and I also do ASHTANGA yoga...the class is heated to about 80 degrees (although I'm sure it goes a bit higher with other people in it)
as other instructional classes they are more intense than videos because if you arent doing a move right, the instructor comes to you and "fixes" you.
we do about 30 mins of flow moves (gets your heart up), then 30 mins of balance postures (these are muscle builders as you are constantly straining your muscles to conform to the intricate postures), then about 30 mins for warmup/cooldown. I am always tired after the class, I have lost 1/2 inch from almost everywhere since I've started, and I read up online that if you do the postures right--you lose about 500 cals per class.

this makes sense because in any form of excersize it all has to do with how hard you push yourself. and i really like to be ontop of my game...I know that the class is the most intense form of workout i'll be doing so i put effort into all the moves!! and I usually end up having one muscle (at least!) shaking by the end of class!

good luck finding classes like this...because the gym instructors are definitely not as intense!!!

=-)

You sound hungry. You may not be eating enough. I recommend Dariqueen can give you a hand sorting out your caloric range. I bet you'll be surprised. My range is 1550 for extreme and 1676 for less extreme loss.
