So today starts a new month! New goal etc. I currently weigh 249 after eating lunch. Still staying around the same weight that I have been for about a month now. It's time for that to go bye bye! I do have a new picture to post up, which is my halloween costume this year. And I plan on taking a update pic at the end of each month to track my progress. My goal for the month is to be at 240 so I need to lose around 9lbs. I did just restock my fridge with more water bottles so now I can try to drink more of those instead of my amazing sweet tea. Wish me luck!

Very excited to report that I have lost a few lbs since yesterday. I am currently at 246.6lbs. I have not eaten yet which is a good thing. I am trying not to eat unless I get hungry. I've noticed that works the best for me. I also have gobbled down 2 bottles of water. I woke up this am and starting getting down and dirty with housework. I am starting with today to try and eat only the 1500 calories I should intake according to a site I found last night. Its actuallly like 1480 so we can go with that!
 
Back to the start of a new week. This weekend was eventful. Time change happened. I had to work both Sat and Sun. Me and my bf went Christmas decor shopping and set up our first tree! I was worried about what I ate this weekend because it was not all good food. But somehow I managed to weigh in at 246 this morning. Its not a big jump from the last weigh in but its a lot better than gaining weight! I still have 6 more pounds to lose for this month's goal. I think this will be easily attainable. I am excited to say I finally get paid this week so grocery shopping is in our near future! I can actually get some fresh fruit in this house. Perhaps some other food instead of junk food too. Today I have noticed I'm hungrier than usual. I am trying to ignore this as much as possible. I have only ate a bowl of cereal this morning and I have almost drank 2 bottles of water. I am trying to eat as little as possible today since I know what will be for dinner tonight - frozen pizza. Which is about half of my calorie intake for the day.

Ok so I am pretty stoked.. still seeing a weight loss. I am at 245.8 today. I do have to say I did go to lunch at O'Charleys with my mother which probably wasn't the greatest idea. However, I did bring home leftovers instead of stuffing my face with food. I probably have enough leftovers for 2 more meals, easily. I stopped eating when I felt satisfied and I ate more slowly. This was how my eating habits were a couple years ago so maybe this is a sign that my mind is finally starting to want to lose weight too! Anyways, I have 2 more days before I post in the BIG Weigh In challenge on here. I am hoping for a good weight loss. I started the challenge at 249 I am hoping to be 245 come Thursday.. and I want to be 240 at the end of the month. I still have Thanksgiving to worry about. It is also my boyfriends birthday the day before and his mothers the day of. So I got to behave!
 
Today is just a bad day. I feel tired and sore everywhere. I just want to stay in bed all day. Guess this is what "getting old" feels like.

I was saying that all day yesterday. From the forums I am on and FB it looks like we weren't the only ones. I think yesterday was just a bad day. Btw, thanks for the compliments!
 
So today was the big weigh-in for the site. I am currently at 246. I still have 3 more weigh ins to go this month to achieve my 240 goal! Hopefully Thanksgiving and the bf's bday won't throw me off too much.
 
Just got to be smart about holiday feasts!! People always say they only come round once a year... but there's always someone's birthday or something else to trip you up every other week as well. Just load your plate up with lean meat and veg and if you feel the need for dessert, pick one you really want and just have a small portion. AH, and watch the alcohol. That's a killer lol.


This time of year is difficult for me too, my sisters birthday, then my nans, then Christmas, then New year, then my husbands birthday first week of Jan, then my best friends birthday 10 days after that... then MY birthday a fortnight later! Haha I'd be a whale by the time March rolled around if I caved at every event (so lets hope I don't! Eek! oh, then it's my dad's birthday in March. Why is everyone born at the beginning of the year!?)


Good luck for the rest of the month, I'm a bit behind on my goals too... I have to be extra vigilant the next fortnight!

So for the bad news... I went to the doctors today to find out what was going on with me this week. I was getting random bumps and pink marks on my face, I have been sore all week and just haven't felt like myself. Turns out, I have Shingles. So most of my time will be spent laying around. :sleeping: Of course I get this closest to the weekend as possible. I do plan on keeping my dieting number one priority but I doubt I will be very "active" for the next few days. I'm in way too much pain to care about anything. It even hurts to eat hard or firm foods on the right side of me so I have been chewing slowly on my left side and after the bad timing at McD today I just plan on making soup my menu until I feel better.


For the good news... I weigh 244.5lbs today! Finally under 245 again. :hurray:
 
I forgot to mention that I did slip today and went to McDonalds while I was waiting for my prescription to be filled. I have went over my calorie limit for the day. I am at 1620 calories for the day at its only 3:30pm. Hopefully I won't be hungry for the rest of the day.

It hurts to eat anything so I sent out the bf to get some soft food grocery items. Hopefully I will lose weight this while also dealing with this crap on my face!

Starting to feel better but still not 100%. My allergies are kicking in or I'm starting to get a cold. So now I have shingles and a bunch of other crap. Will it ever end?!! Anyways, more good news. I love getting on the scale in the morning and seeing a weight loss.

I am glad to say I weigh 243lbs today at the weekly weigh-in.


If I can get lucky and lose 3 more lbs next week even with the upcoming Thanksgiving events, I will be stoked!


I think being sick helped me in a way to lose the weight but I still need to focus on eating less like I did for the past week.


Luckily, I get to weigh in before I go to Thanksgiving.
