Im starting a new diary!
I am starting fresh because I feel like I am more committed, and I wanted a fresh start after a few stuff ups.
Introduction On Me
I am eighteen years old and live in Tasmania, Australia. I finished up school last year and have been working full time in an advertising agencey for 5 months now. I have never been overweight, for most of my childhood I was underweight - but incredibly unhealthy. I have recently had a wake up call - a visit to my dentist (I need 9 fillings and two teeth capped) and a low bone density diagnosis from my doc - which could lead to osteoporosis.
My plan of action! Rid LOTS of sugar out of my diet! Also, take a caltrate calcium supplement every day (I am lactose intolerant, dairy makes me really sick).
I would also like to lose a bit of weight.
Sorry i should be more specific, I would like to lose FAT
My body fat % is 22% at the moment. I would like to be around 17%, but my goal at the moment is 54.0kg. I started off weighing 62kg, and now weight 58.3kg. I have had a bit of criticism about my weight loss goal, but I have visited a weight loss advisor at my gym, and we agreed that 54kg was a good goal.
Oh yeah, and I wanna get FIT!. I plan on walking a half marathon up a mountain in November, and I would like to be able to do it without dieing!
To accomplish this I am:
Walking for 40 minutes EVERY DAY
Either in the morning or at night, this includes hills.
Doing strength training at the gym TWICE a week
Free weights, machines and stretching
Doing cardio at the gym THREE-FOUR times a week
For 40 minutes
The exercise plan might sound extreme - but I love doing it. It makes me feel so much better when I do, and I sleep better.
I am not worrying TOO much about my diet. I want to exercise to lose fat, rather than severly restricting my calories.
1300 calories a day
ONE treat meal a week
ONE day breakfast is the biggest meal of the day
EAT every 3-4 hours

Pre Brekkie:
40 Minute Walk
Brekkie:
1/3 Cup Oats
1/3 Cup Milk
1/3 Cup Water
1 Tbsp Honey
Snack:
Apple
Lunch:
Minestrone Soup
Snack:
Mini Maltesers (16g) + small tin tuna
Dinner:
Grilled Chicken with salad or vegies
GYM
40 Minutes Cardio OR Weights
I allow myself a little treat each day.. I will never be able to cut out sugar completly.
I also will probably have 1 tea with skim milk and equal throughout the day. Also 2L of water.
I Just want to be comfortable again, not have my love handles and flabby bits. I want to be 100% comfortable with my boyfriend, not so self concious. I want to feel GOOD when I wake up, I want this to be a LIFESTYLE change, not just a diet.
My Mini Goals
58.0kg - Buy a new eyeshadow (splurge on a dior or chanel one
)56.0kg - New shoes! Desperatly need them, so thats extra motivation to get to my goal!
54.0kg - Spring Shopping!
I want to be at my goal by October 7, this is 6 or 7 weeks away. I would like to at least come close. I want to go shopping and be able to buy size 8's and be comfortable in them. So I am not buying ANY clothes until I reach my goal!
I am open to criticism! If there is something i could be doing better I wanna hear it!
