I feel really good about today. Last night I was so depressed about it all I just got fed up with myself and decided I'm going to do this - I'm going to get it done now! I couldn't make it to the gym again, it's too cold to walk! That's okay! I'll do it tomorrow for sure. You know I just love swimming. I think that's an awesome way to work out - without even knowing it!

I hope everyone else is doing awesome too! This is so awesome being part of this site - you guys rock! Wooo Hooo!
 
You did awesome today! I know you did better then me.. I woke up this morning with plans to workout and I dont know what happend but I never made it! Tomorrow is a new day and I do plan on working out!! Hope you have a great week!!

Four Pounds Lighter!


Thankg you guys! you're so awesome - and don't worry about not working out, enjoy your day off and get right back on it tomorrow! Hee hee that's what y'all told me yesterday :) Anyways, I'm so sorry if I don't have time to hit everybody's journals sometimes! I'm extra busy and also I share this computer so I usually don't have toooo much time unless the boys are off to work. I LOST FOUR LBS!!!! YAY! IM WICKEDLY EXCITED!
I worked out this morning on the elliptical (10 mins.) - while waiting for the treadmill then I was on that for 40 mins. I'll do my situps and that later! Everybody tell me how you're doing though! I really want to know - And yay for magical monday! Go girls Go girls go girls!

Wow! That's fantastic, I'm so proud of you. I was gone this weekend and I was so sad to read your end of week journal when I got back, but it has such a happy new chapter (4 lbs!) that now I feel better. I hope you're doing great, I know what you mean about the gym, and let me tell you, the Mossimo spandex/cotton exercise pants with the flared legs control the jiggle really well, I love them. Also, keep in mind almost everybody there is so worried about their own jiggle they don't think to look at anyone else's. When I first started to lose weight, I was working out at a gym and every day I was mortally embarrassed of myself, but then I thought, "I'll just do it EVERY DAY, and it will be a constant improvement". And for no good reason, that worked and I stopped obsessing about the stupid mirrors. They're dumb, but they're almost always in every gym. Keep goin' I know you can!;)

just checking through your diary and it really sounds like you have your 'head on straight' and goals in proportion to reality, which i find is one of the hardest parts to starting any weight loss plan. And, the goal to be healthy is fabulous. So, you've already lost 4 POUNDS. that is awesome. Congrats. Looks like you've upped your exercise as well and your doing great. I can see the 160's being long gone before you know it!!! (well, of course you'll know it - but it'll be a whole new decade to join!!) WHOO-HOO.

Thanks guys - I think we're all really doing awesome! Don't worry Beagle - I figured there were things more important than this forum :p haha.. I hope you're doing great though. I can't wait to check out everybody else's progress - you guys are so inspirational sometimes.. I'll see that someone else has gotten to their goal and I'll totally throw on my running shoes and give 'er for a half hour haha.
Today I'm gonna really get going with that Tae Bo video. I didn't give it too much of a chance last time - they kick so fast! Haha.. but I can do it - it'll just take some work. Breakfast? I have no idea what I'm going to eat.

Hey girl! Congratulations on losing the four pounds! That is awesome.

I know what you mean about the tae bo video. I used to do those, and it was really hard to keep up with it in the beginning. It will get better. (sigh) I kind of wish I could do it now.

Ahhh. V8. That would be nice right about now too! Gotta get out of here before I start feeling sorry for myself! Lol!
 
Hey Elizab3th- sounds like your doing an awesome job! You have such a flippin great attitude, even when you say you've had a bad day, and thats the best thing to do, very infectious :)

so this kinda goes with the gym jiggle- when I first started working out at my gym, a friend and I went into the locker room to put our stuff away and there were two skinny girls in there- one of them looked at us all disgusted like and then said, "We need to stop coming here. Theres to many ugly people coming now." !!!! And to that, I say, kiss my slightly larger and rounder behind, cuz now I work there lol :) that made me happy hehe

I can't believe somebody would actually say that! Well %&*# them! Haha.. I so try to stay positive - I know what you mean that its infectious, I'm actually usually in a bad mood until I come and talk to you guys and then it's like ahh I'm having such a terrible day but ... I can't stop smiling..
Hey I downloaded that Tae Bo from the internet - it's real hard doing the kicks around my computer desk and that Haha. I think I need to just do something light tomorrow when it comes to exercise though.. I'm feeling a little sore - I think I overdid myself by rushing into everything.
Okay, so I started eating these protein bars. They taste like a dirt road but they really help stop my cravings in the middle of the day. I need to find something that tastes better, once I finish off this BOX of dirt I bought.
I'm doing awesome today - I ate...
- glass of V8
- bowl of mini wheats w/ milk
- peach yogurt
- protein bar
- glass of white cranberry juice
- 1 pc. toast
Well I haven't exactly eaten it all yet but I planned it out and that's how its going to be... right now I'm at the protein bar. As a matter of fact I'm eating dirt as we speak :D
HAHA but my exercise I'm sooo proud of myself! Get this:
- 20 mins. treadmill (jogging)
- 20 mins. walk back to my boyfriends
- 30 mins. walk to mall and back
- 100 sit ups
- 10 mins Tae Bo
- 20 mins. weight lifting
I'm so happy for me! Haha.. And everyone else ofcourse.. I couldn't have stayed so positive if it weren't for everyone's support! Thanks girls and boys!
I'll weight myself tomorrow and see if there's a change. Duh duh duh...
(I hope you guys didn't give up on me half way through this) LOL :rolleyes:
