Its almost my bedtime so i only read your last post. IT looks like you've got a lot to be proud of. Keep going. Great stuff.
 
My day has been great! I had no school today so I have more freetime to do things.. Like update my diary here! :D

So I woke up late, did 50min morning power walk and in afternoon i was at a core lesson at the gym. 2 hours work out today and feeling awesome! :)

My today's eatings:

Breakfast: Oatmeal, 100g cottage cheese 1,5%, 100g sugarfree strawberry juice soup. (Vitamins, magnesium + omegas)
Dinner: 40g Pasta with 2 tablespoon creme bonjour cuisine pesto and garlic, 150g chicken fillet and 200g veggies. (+omegas)
After core lesson: Recovery drink
Evening snack: Low-carb protein bar and pepsi max. (+omegas)

Ive drunk over 3 litres of water today, few glasses of pepsi max and coffee with drop of cream!


I didnt eat all of my meals today because I woke up so late and didnt feel hungry. Last week I totally ate all of my meals even I woke up late in few days.. So here has happened some progress I guess. I can control my hunger better.

Maybe I will take some progress picture on monday if I reach 89kg!!

For some reason, this made me laugh. Like its an over the top brand name isn't it?

I wish i could summon the energy to get my camera out and take snaps. I think i'm going to regret not having a staged record to look back on.

Years ago, when i was at my fattest (74kg) i took some before shots when i started a diet. I wore a black fullpiece. Well i found them gross and i think i finally ditched those pictures last year. Its easier to look at other people than yourself sometimes. I sort of wish I hadn't ditched them, just hidden them. Oh yeah, i was afraid that if anything happened to me, my family might find them. lol stupid right?

Have you ever tried just putting milk in your coffee. I know Americans do cream but milk is yummy too. And then you can have more. I put in 1/3 cup of milk in my mug.

Unless i'm having expresso, like now in which case i put in 1/2 cup of full cream milk. mmmmmmmmmmmmm so delicious.

Well, I just put the name of the sauce there, because I dont know how common it is elsewhere in the world.. Didnt come up with any other term for it. And I really rarely use those kind of products so.. :)

I have taken some pictures so I can compare them later.. Even I totally hate the pics when Im on my heaviest! But Im sure Im glad later Ive something to compare on..

I usually drink my coffee with a drop of cream which includes 10% fat. I just like it better than milk because milk is like putting water in your coffee.. But its a matter of opinion. :) I dunno about americans but here in Finland people use both, milk and coffee cream. Someone like milk better, someone coffee cream. :) And I only drink like two cups of coffee in a day so it really doesnt matter do I use milk or cream. :D

now, i see you are Finnish! I've been to Finland. Ok it was many many years ago. I enjoyed it a lot. I was with a guy and we toured around on a motorbike from Helsinki right up above the arctic circle and then we went over to Norway. I liked the wildness of Finland. I still remember very clearly those lovely lakes and the underground museum. We heard some lovely music there. I remember seeing reindeer. I regret not going to see the laplanders though. I saw the midnight sun! And lots of wildflowers. And we went to the russian border and scared ourselves silly in case we accidentally crossed the line. In those days it was the soviet union and the rest of the world was paranoid about the USSR. lol There was a van suspiciously parked by the side of the road and we felt they must be some sort of government spies or at least immigration border guards or something.

Yep, Im finnish. :D Where re you from Fortyfour? I am actually from Lapland and still living in here. :) I absolutely love living in north.. Such a peaceful place to live not to mention about nature which is beautiful around here. :) My parents live on a arctic circle and midnight sun is well know here! :D My home is actually very close to swedish border, my mom is working in Swedish hospital. And yes it wasnt that wise to cross the russian border two of you :D It isnt the same like crossing the swedish border.. :D Ive never been in Russia.. The easter boarder is much more far away from me.

Anyway, I must run to my spinning/pump lesson! Thanks for sharing your experiences with me about Finland ;)
 
My day and meals:

Coffee with drop of cream in the morning. Then I went to spin/pump class and after I took 40g recovery (Hera80) drink. (+Vitamins, magnesium and omegas)

Breakfast: 35g Oatmeal, 100g quark, 100g sugarfree juice soup.

Lunch: 2 Fried eggs, 130g mushrooms, 80g turkey fillet, 20g feta cheese 3%, 10g olive oil.

In afternoon I did 50min power walk.

Dinner: 40g Pasta, about 3 tablespoons the rest of the creme bonjour, 150g chicken and 200g sallad with feta 10% cheese, 10g olive oil. (+Omegas)

Evening snack: Low-carb protein bar (banana flavour, yum!)

Little bit later I drunk the last vanilla cappuccino from the closet.. :leaving: (+Omegas)

The calories of the day are around 1770! :ack2: Eventhought Ive exercised two hours today.. Sounds too much.

Im looking forward tomorrow morning and the moment of jumping on the scale!

I hope you see a number drop tomorrow morning!!! It's so weird how 1,700 calories can seem like "too many" when we are in this healthy lifestyle. Also weird how we can get SO FULL eating so many less calories...just gotta put in that healthy stuff in our system.
 
I dont know is my scale broken or something else has happened, because it showed +0,8kg gaining weight from last wednesday... LOL. Im going to weight myself tomorrow morning again. This thing happened to me last week as well, I gained like kilo and in the next morning I had lost 1,5kg! Crazy how body acts..

And if it doesnt come down untill tomorrow, then I will get it down on next week.. Ive followed the diet pretty strictly though and exercised 8 hours (=13 workouts) on this week! I totally havent eaten less than I should had, but I also havent eaten MORE than Im aloud. Ive counted the calories and Ive been burning calories by exercising..

I guess its unnecessary to speculate this right now anyway. The day is coming anyway when it will show me 89kg! :biggrinjester:

I didnt exercise today because I have a rest day. It has been hard to not work out... Im so used to it, so when I have day off it's a torture if Im not totally tired.

My meals:

Breakfast: 40g Oatmeal, 100g quark, 100g sugarfree juice soup. (Vitamins, magnesium + omegas.)

Snack: Low-carb protein bar.

Lunch: 200g Sallad with feta cheese 10%, 150g chicken fillet. (+Omegas)

Dinner: 100g Sallad with feta cheese 10%, 100g veggie mix, 100g ground meat with garlic and spices, 40g bulgur.

I havent eaten evening meal yet, it will probably be 250g quark, 100g sugarfree juice soup and 10g wheatbran. (+Omegas)

Now back to my schoolworks... :cool:
 
Im a bit down because the scale showed more than yesterday!! Even I ate very strictly yesterday and I dont know how it is possible. Well, I must just continue... I guess I will go for a morning jogg after a coffee. The loss of the week is -1,2kg anyway :)
 
I've exercised for two hours today. 1,5 hours walking / jogging and 30min in the gym doing upper body. Gym work out was pretty lazy one.. I was feeling sad or something. But I did feel good about myself after, because I exercised even it didnt feel good (because of my mood..) so I can be a bit proud of myself.

My meals and calories today:

Coffee with drop of cream...

Morning jogg/power walk 50min.

Breakfast: 40g Oatmeal, 100g cottage cheese 1,5%, 100g sugarfree juice soup. (Vitamins, magnesium + omegas)

"Snack": 40g (Made specially for women who are losing weight, includes high-class protein and its low-carb of course) It is taste of chocolate, and I can tell you it tastes like shit! But this kind of healthy stuff tastes sometimes like that.. :ack2:

After workout at the gym I forgot to drink a recovery drink.. But I think the work out wasnt even so tough... So doesnt matter really.

Dinner: 100g Ground meat with garlic and spices, 40g bulgur, 10g olive oil, 100g sallad with some 10% feta, 300g veggies and mushrooms. (Sounds like a lot of food for one dinner, and I didnt even feel so full after eating!) (+Omegas!)

So.. I ate one orange and little bit later a cup of coffee with drop of cream and Atkins Advantage Chocolate Brownie bar. That bar was something so delicious, Ive found a new allowed love!
I tasted it for a first time.. Nutrition information of the bar was pretty good as well, fits in to my dieting.. There's 218 calories in one 60g bar, 18g protein, 15,7g carbs and 9,3g fat.

Anyway, my whole day's calories are around 1400 at the moment.. Im not going to eat much later... Maybe some quark (+Omegas!).

I was supposed to do my morning jogg today, but I didnt.. Because I was a sissy and tired. It was raining and cold, so you can guess the bed was pretty seductive. So I chose the bed and one hour more sleep. I wasnt so proud of it later on.. Ive been very strict with my working out system and if I do exceptions, I feel bad of course. Start to sound like obsessed person..?

Meals:

Breakfast: Coffee with some cream, 40g Oatmeal, 100g cottage cheese 1,5%, 100g sugarfree juice soup. +Vitamins, magnesium and omegas. (For the first time I felt like I wasnt able to eat all cos I was so full..)

Snack: 250g Quark.

Lunch: 2 Fried eggs, 10g olive oil, about 20g turkey fillet, some mushrooms and paprika

Snack: Atkins protein bar and coffee with drop of cream.

1h Body Pump and after work out 40g Hera80 recovery drink.

Dinner: 40g Pasta, 5g olive oil, 100g ground meat with garlic and spices, 200g pea-corn-paprika veggie mix, 40g cottage cheese 1,5%. (+Omegas)

Calories of the day are around 1695!

Im going to drink a cup of coffee for evening "meal" (+Omegas)... Not feeling terribly hungry anyway. Tomorrow morning Im heading again to morning jogg at 6 a.m before school!

P.S My boyfriend said to me today that he has noticed Ive lost some weight already! :p Felt good, even I cant see the difference myself yet... But the day will come.

I also noticed my BMI is under 30 now!!! :hurray:

I jumped on a scale (again) this morning because Im worried about my weight.. So it has gained more. 91,9kg this morning! And Ive been very strict with eating. Ive kept food diary for myself and Ive counted the calories (Ive counted my carbs, proteins and fat!), and everything should be fine. In theory I should lose weight! Im just panicing now, but this seems weird anyway. Now Im feeling miserable and thinking I cant never get rid of this weight. I can lose few kilos and then it totally stops!!!! :mad:

My mood is DOWN and I can recognize this "old" feeling. Usually at this point Im already shutting this mouth up with the huge sack of candy and chocolate! :willy_nilly: When I walked from school to home today, there is this big advertisement about Double chocolate suffle thing along my way.. I almost felt like crying cos I wanted to eat it so bad! I mean really, how insane is that? :toetap05: Im not going to exercise today.

You have been doing so great!!! Believe me, I KNOW how discouraging it can be, but don't give up, sweetie!! The weight WILL go! You just have to be stubborn! At this time last year, I weighed about what you do now. And believe me, I had some terrible, discouraging days. Now I'm at 63kgs. And if I can do it, so can you!

Just keep your eyes on your goal and keep going forward.
 
I can't remember the big picture but erika, don't lose heart. If you are eating less than your maintenance calories, you WILL lose weight.

Sometimes when you jump on the scale its up because of water retention. The water fluctuates a lot and there are a number of reasons for it. Do i have to list those i've figured out:

too much salt
no exercise for days but bigger muscles to retain more water in the form of glycogen
menstruation
no bowel motions lately

The last one htat got me was no exercise for days. My weight went up from 61kg to 62.2 in less than one week i think. But then today it dropped over night from 62.2 to 61.4 because yesterday i worked quite physically in the garden. So you see! You must not worry when you know you are doing the right thing.

I weigh myself every day so i get to study this quite closely and have to figure out explanations. I do my best to avoid getting upset by the fluctuating numbers and i am trying to show everyone else that they need not worry either.

I find it so sad when people get disappointed by some little thing and lose heart and want to ruin their diet. You see it would be a mistake.

So please try not to get upset by the little things when you know what you are doing is right. Stick to the plan.

Oh Rox, I was wondering today where could I found you, my true inspiration! :hurray: Ive missed you! And thank you so much for the message and all encouraging me here! I took a nap for my miserable feeling instead of eating any crap. And it was a good decision. Also the messages here made me feel so much better now! Im so glad I didnt fell for temptation..

I will keep my eyes on my goal for sure.. I must learn to get over this kind of feeling whenever it tries to dispirit me.
