Ed's Diary

Ha. I had to look up Scorpion pose. I wish I did yoga. I always thought I would dig it. No classes where I live though. I guess I could buy a DVD.

the program was designed by a former pro wrestler and is so the anti pretzel chick yoga... :D

Amazon has the book as well

Get magnificent mobility instead, imo. Or, better yet, let me send you a free copy. :p

I like to keep my meditation and my flexibility work separate. I also like to do almost everything by myself. I'm very schizoid. ^_^

Its on my list. It any good? I hear a lot of folks talkin it up.

I'm with ya on the solo stuff. I doubt I could take a "class" of anything exercise oriented. Especially yoga, I would fall down, or rip my britches.

LOL! You would not!!! :D I ripped my britches in kickboxing once. Right down the ass seam. My teacher couldn't stop laughing. Good thing I thought it was pretty fucking funny, too. I think that is a Spongebob episode. Anyway, if you rent a yoga DVD and do it, I commend you!! :gnorsi:

It's good, if you don't want to have to figure all that stuff out for yourself. I mean, who has the time? *coughs, looks around innocently*

Static stretching is so 1970s. B.C. Well, except for a couple of the timeless classics.

Oh, for me it's not about keeping up. It's about those fuckers slowing me down. Shit, half the time the Y staff is trying to stop me doing something in the gym. Yesterday they almost kicked me out just because I was bleeding from the head (smashed myself in the killzone - soft part of the back of the head - with a cable pulley I didn't check properly after adjusting... lesson learned), hands, nose, shin and arm and people were complaining about having to potentially watch me die before I was done, haha.

I like to compete against myself because so far I'm the only person crazy enough to keep up with me. ;) But uh, your concern is somewhat more common. I really recommend Magnificent Mobility. Like I said, shoot me a pm and I will hooks you up. You can at least try it out and see if you like it before buying. (I personally make a point of always purchasing at least one copy of any works that have benefited me, directly or indirectly. I feel it is important that quality contributions be rewarded.)

Is that challenge? Or a dare?

I need to be more flexible. I was thinking maybe something along these lines.

Damnit. I'm pissed. I missed my WO last night. The cable guy came at 4:00 and they had problems with our internet and didnt leave till like 9:00. Then I worked on our network for like 2 hours. Stupid cable.

Oh well. I have registration at school today, I have no idea how long that will take but I will hit the gym after. Then I will have to go on Saturday to get back on track. :nopity:

UGH! I hate when they can't get done in a reasonable amount of time! No worries though!

Are you registering for school or for the kids?

so maybe there will be some hot 19 year olds to oogle discretely :)

Yeah, and they will be dumb to cause the only class I'm taking on campus is the remedial math that I epic phailed on. Stupid algebra. It should make companies very nervous that I handle 1/4 million dollar accounts for Fortune 500 companies and and I have to take math 98 in college lol

Thanks! I hate it though. Likely because I already know everything. Math is what I hate the most. Everything else I can live with. When my actual physical therapy classes start that will be fine. I just dread doing all the pre-requisite crap.

Yeah I think pre-req's are retarded. The physical therapy sounds like a great occupation. I considered studying it myself. How long is the full course?
