I am French from an English part of the country. My city has 750,000 people in it and maybe 50,000 are french. Only one french high school, one french university. So, I speak both French and English perfectly.

Question:

When I hear "French Canadian" I think "Canadian who speaks French"


What do Canadians think when they here "African American"?
 
Well French Canadian is definately someone who speaks french, however, it's usually someone in eastern Canada. I'm in the west, so most people don't think there are French Canadians in the west.

As for African American, we simply think it's a way of classifying a certain race.(I hate that word by the way, we are all human and from the same race.) Just like Native American, Caucasian, Asian and so on.

That being said... I am currently living in what I consider my least favorite province in this beautiful nation. I'm an Easterner...and Alberta is WEIRD... just thought I'd make that clear.

I like Canada. I love curling in the Olympics. And I like Georges St. Pierre. I get all the Canadian accounts where I work for some reason?

Lost on me. Canada=Canada in Alabama. I will just assume that that would be my equivalent of being in California.
 
Oh its on. Sorry though. I am a GSP fan but I gott go with Penn on that one. Not as in I think he will be favored but as in, I will route for him. BJ is the shit.
 
Oh and just so you know. Since you are an admitted french Canadian, I read everything you post in a GSP voice.

No would. That fight is set. It is happening. If BJ is in shape I think he takes it on natural God given baddassedness. But he tends to get lazy when he goes up in weight.
