Eating all the food. Doing all the exercise.

68kg today, which I actually think is pretty good considering the sodium from dinner!! I'm hoping this will be me new 'high' fluctuation. I might weigh in again during the week to see how far it drops.

Here were some totals from last week:

Total deficit for the week 2456
Average hours of sleep Dead on 8!

So have to pick my game up a little this week, aiming for somewhere between 3500-3600 cal deficit and again at least 8 hours sleep average a night. Also had a couple of coke zeros last week, going to aim to have none!!

Today I have PT this morning (legs) and after that no plans as yet. Husband is home today which is nice!

Went a little over calories today, I'm not stressed about it though. I think I was just a bit annoyed about my weigh in even though I knew I shouldn't be! PT was a really rough session too (legs always is) so eating for the gains I guess!! Going to be much better the rest of the week.

B Choc banana baked oatmeal with some coco2
S (post workout) PB protein ice-cream with 40g PB and some more coco2
L/S 2 GF bagels with cream cheese and salmon, also had some edam
D 125g camembert. Yup, ate a lot of cheese today. Was just really snacky all afternoon

Hi lundafuzz! It seems you had a really interesting night out. I love night's going out with fun and interesting chatting with friends. It gives me relax and pleasure.

This weekend i tried to follow your suggestion about making desserts that i really like and are healthy. It isn't so difficult, the real thing is to have this in mind all the time. And its great idea to give something so it is outside the house something that it delays diet program. However at any case i think i should try having more control about desserts at general. These really are backsliding me a lot.
 
Hey guys, didn't mean to be absent a couple of days... Totally had a couple of fail days, straight back into it. I'll be honest just so you know how it went down- Mon I had the day at home with my husband which rarely ever happens. We spent the whole day watching TV and grazing, by the end of the day I was a couple hundred cals over maintenance... then I decided to go out for a walk with S. When I got back, I randomly picked away at some cheese... then realised I was out of hayfever tablets, so went out with the husband. He ended up wanting some bits from the supermarket, suddenly we were buying ice-cream/chocolate/chips etc. Had a monster feast, ended up close to 3000 calories over maintenance (around 5300 for the day). YIKES.

Yesterday I had a food hangover, slept in till after 9am, spent the day picking again, didn't really want to leave the house. Got to the end of the day right at maintenance, went to Pilates with S and a new girl we were meeting, L (who is lovely, been texting her a bit today) and afterward... they hadn't had dinner, so we went into Surfers Paradise which of course was insane as school holidays has just started. Ended up at a little Mexican restaurant opposite the beach (was such a nice night, and there was lightning over the water in the distance which was amazing!) Nachos happened, a massive portion... I didn't finish them but think I easily would've finished around 700ish cals worth. So yesterday had about 3000ish calories. Had such a good night though, we chatted for AGES (Pilates finished at 7.30, Surfers is just around the corner... we left just after 9.30!)

So I had 2 fun days that killed the calories a little, I'll be lucky if I finish this week maintaining! But, I'll be honest... 0 regrets! I just need to get on top of ordering out, it would have been better if I got something like tacos and only went a few hundred over... or salad... or really, nothing, they knew I'd already eaten :D

Today I had PT this morning, went and did a bit of clothes shopping in the middle of the day for the weekend (think I'm going up to Brisbane on Fri... no drinks as we also have to come back that night, but dinner and dancing with the group we went out with last weekend) So shopping for a Fri night outfit! Got a cute skirt and a dress, I'll figure out what everyone else is wearing and see if dressing up or down is more appropriate. S is coming over shortly to let me know how she went with immigration today, she's Irish and organising staying longer term. Fingers crossed all is good! Her work is sponsoring her to stay.

Finally... My PT said he wasn't supposed to know, but a friend at the gym of his who is one of the higher-ups heard that the gym has been sold and they are going to close for refurb... and get rid of all the staff. Like start from scratch. NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Apparently they have all their own staff already etc. I'm pissed off because refurb could take a few months, which means all us members are out on our asses... and I LOVE this gym. I love the classes and the instructors, and my PT is awesome (but he might be leaving for the army very soon anyway). Boo hissssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

That sucks Lucy about the gym. It sounds like you are having lots of fun atm & you will be fine if you just can limit the eating, especially while you're out. pity about your gym, we have a heap of new gyms opening up here on the sunny coast so all the existing gyms are running all sorts of specials at the moment.
 
Dear Wishes, Hi, this is my first post on this website. The only post I've read on this website so far was yours, entitled:

It is a closed thread so I couldn't respond to it. It has been up since 2007.
I realize that forums are completely relaxed places where we don't have to keep up decorum and propriety, but you did indeed write:
"will loose weight"
and no one has bothered to gently correct it. So I thought I might suggest it here. Not everyone is a stickler for grammar and spelling, but it is indeed the first thing anyone reads when they come to this forum. Thanks and wish me luck! "gopangaea!"
 
The gym roughly a block and a half from my house, has zero of the same employees that were there the first day I walked in: late June 2012. They also refurbished, but since it's a chain I can just drive to another location. My last PT opened up his own gym/training center. I follow him on Twitter and I think I'll go by and visit him some time next week.
 
There is actually quite a few gyms around me, but the one I am currently at is HUGE, way more space and equipment than any of the others... I used to go to Snap fitness which was within walking distance but it was always so busy, I think I could fit 50 of those in the space of my current one! Also the class schedule was great. And it was cheap. Argh. I'm angry haha.

The rest of the week has been a bit up and down with food but thought I should get on and update! Friday night we had planned to go to Brisbane but got messed around a bit with a last minute change of plans with the girls we were meeting... so we decided not to go. Instead we went to a VERY cute little lounge bar and chilled out with nibbles and a bit of wine till 11. I went only very slightly over calories I think.

Yesterday I just had work, was actually kind of a shitty day. I mean it was quiet, but I'd promised to bring in a raw vegan slice to share as I have a vegan co-worker who always misses out when the chefs cook (or when I bring in anything else) and one of the chefs was interested in trying it. So I made a bigger batch of that caramel slice I made the other week for anyone else who wanted to try it... and R, the other guy instore who works for the same company, came over and said that the AV manager (she's barely spoken to me EVER and we've never had a conversation, she knows who I am but barely knows me) had told several people that I was doing it for the recognition. Yea, my self-esteem is so low I feel the need to cook for my co-workers for the praise (sarcasm, in case that wasn't portrayed properly). What a cow. Not to mention I pretty much bring food in every other week... and cook for a lot of people at home... and even make batches of stuff for people to take home. If I know you and like you I've cooked for you.
I'm still fuming!! :rant:

Anyway... on my spreadsheet it says today is day 28, so it's the end of the first 4 weeks which were made a bit of a fail by how terrible I've been this week lol. Actually I like that I can see how much work a few days can undo- I hadn't been particularly spectacular the whole month but this week knocked it down so much further!! Here's all my averages and totals for the month (I track and average everything!)

Aaaaand I think that's it. I've got what exercise I've done written on the spreadsheet too but I'm not tracking hours exercised or anything like that, as some weeks I have so much energy and go hard every day and the next I might only do my PT sessions. I think that's more listening to my body than anything else!

Todays food was all added into the above stats too, I won't bother writing my food down. Starting fresh tomorrow!

That sucks about the gym :( It's hard to find a good place that you enjoy going to, and now they're getting rid of the staff? Boo to that! Mind you, the gyms around me never had the same staff for longer than a few months, and the PTs I've tried were more interested in updating their facebook than making me sweat. I hope the people are good! What will you do while it's being refurbished?

Stupid AV manager - geez what a sausage. Seriously, sounds like HE is the one doing it for recognition of being an party pooper with an opinion about everything.

Hey guys, thanks for the encouragement. Had another bunch of assholes at work yesterday, I'll explain in a sec. First, here is a pic of me from Fri night (I've cropped people out from either side)

Urrgh so YESTERDAY. Some asshole salesperson has decided that since he sucks at sales, he's going to blame everyone else for him sucking. I had a few sales ready to go at different times (I have to hand them over as I can't do it, I don't work for the store) and both times everyone was busy, so they both ended up going to the guy that really works in Air con... but he was just sitting there. Not just letting sales walk out! Then completely randomly this sales guy (will now refer to him as A for asshole) comes up to me and asks if there's a particular reason I keep giving fridges sales to W. I just said yea, both times I was ready to go he was the only person free. Which was fine, I was a bit pissed that he came over and thought I was favouring someone but I can handle it.

A bit later I saw him having words with L (she does what I do for a different company, she's a lot younger than us though... she's not 18 yet) and then she disappeared. I went out the back and said hi, and she burst into tears and explained that he had blamed her for a customer leaving, then when she was invited by a different salesperson to help with info on a product he came over and bitched about her... to the other salesperson... while she and the customer she was helping were standing within earshot. The other salesperson shut him down straight away but she was totally upset. What a douchecanoe!!!!

S had a bad weekend with shitty people too, so we were all commiserating last night. L is probably coming over for a lazy movie day at mine tomorrow before our little Pilates meetup and S might join us either after work or she'll chuck a sickie :D.

Anyway... Fresh month, today has started off really well too. I went to the gym, cleaned the house with the husband, eaten well etc. Made some more raw caramel slice for tomorrow too, I have a few disposable containers too so I'll send everyone home with some so I don't eat it all! Also giving some to PT on Wed.

Actually was speaking to PT today about physio and how I claim it on my health insurance, and he asked if I can claim gym (which I can, but have never done as I didn't know how) and he went and had the manger write up a tax invoice for me... so I'll have a few extra $$$$ this week! YAY!

Also S is considering doing the IQS challenge with me too... I'm going to fwd her all the meal plans when I get them on Thu, then the challenge starts Mon!
