DSMan Weight Loss Diary

I hate to admit it, but I hated taking any pictures of me when I was at my largest. I was so embarrassed by my size, and pictures only made it worst. I always made sure to stand behind something or someone in a picture, so only my face could be seen.

Our weight goals are pretty similar and I'm on the same calories as you. How tall are you? Good job on the diet so far, keep going.

I still do that! Old habits are hard to break *blush*

6'4" here, a little friendly competition seems in order.

Here is another update.

Starting weight 345 lbs October 26, 2016
Current Weight: 208 lbs, May 31, 2017 (218 Days)
Goal Weight: 189 lbs
Current BMI 27.4
Goal BMI: 24.9
Net loss: 137 lb

Had another drop this week. I lost 4lbs, so I am very pleased. I am a little surprised though since I average about 1700 calories a day. Thought my weight loss would drop. I am still doing 30-40 min of workout Monday to Friday

Here is another update.

Starting weight 345 lbs October 26, 2016
Current Weight: 201 lbs, June 14, 2017 (232 Days)
Goal Weight: 189 lbs
Current BMI 26.5
Goal BMI: 24.9
Net loss: 144 lb

Was busy last week so didn't do an update. I lost 7 lbs though over the last two weeks. Still losing between 3 and 4 lbs a week. I am still doing 30-40 min of workout Monday to Friday. Think the work out is what's keeping the weight loss up

Well done. You are consistently losing weight while getting your nutrition. That will stand you in good stead for maintenance & for your future health. Excellent work!

Another week, another update

Starting weight 345 lbs October 26, 2016
Current Weight: 198 lbs, June 21, 2017 (239 Days)
Goal Weight: 189 lbs
Current BMI 26.1
Goal BMI: 24.9
Net loss: 147lbs

I lost 3 lbs this week. I am averaging now about 3 lbs a week. Still very good, I am so close to being in the "normal" BMI range. I am still doing 30-40 min of workout Monday to Friday. Think the work out is what's keeping the weight loss up. I have been eating about 1500-1900 calories a day, so I am making sure I am not starving.

I wanted to also add being under 200 lbs is such a momentous thing for me. I haven't been under 200 in well over 16 years. Just less than a year ago I never thought I could ever be under 200 lbs again. :)

Wow. I haven't updated in a while. I have been super busy, and then u went on a long vacation. My weight loss is still going well.

Here is my current weight in:

Starting weight 345 lbs October 26, 2016
Current Weight: 190 lbs, September 6, 2017
Goal Weight: 189 lbs
Current BMI 25.2
Goal BMI: 24.9
Net loss: 155lbs

I had some major ups and downs. Prior to my vacation I was 195, I gained about 15lbs during a 2 week vacation, which basically involved eating a buffet nearly every day for 3 meals a day. I was able to get right back on track and lose all of it, and now I am down more than I have ever been. Just one more lb and I will be at my main goal. :)

That's excellent! I just noticed I had your goal weight, rather than your current weight(at the time), but you have almost fixed that by only being one pound off 189. Well done!

I am so happy, I hit Goal. Never imagined this day would come.

Here is my current weight in:

Starting weight 345 lbs October 26, 2016
Current Weight: 186 lbs, September 13, 2017
Goal Weight: 189 lbs
Current BMI 24 .5
Goal BMI: 24.9
Net loss: 159lbs

Today was a very good week. I hit my goal, and the even harder part comes. I need to maintain my weight. I must now all myself to over eat and undo the work I have done.
