Eh, I'm feeling bloated lately. I dunno what the prob. is. I think my GERD is being weird on me. I have been eating stuff that triggers it.

Anyway, 310.8 today. :)

Awww.. sorry to hear it!

But wootles on the weight loss, it is really coming off quickly for you at the moment, so you are doing something right!!! :hurray:

Yup, I'm happy.

April 21st I weighed in at Curves at 319.something. (But I'm pretty sure I weighed that much because I ate lunch and drank water right before). But I am glad to be almost 10 lbs down since then. And its not even an entire month yet. On May 21st its my official Curves weigh-in, where they measure and weigh. I'm so excited to see how many inches I have lost. Even if its just a barely little bit, it's progress.

10 lbs in a month is a really good weight loss.. not too fast, and not too slow! You know you can sustain that rate until you have lost all you wish to... so I think a huge WELL DONE is in order!!!

:hurray::hurray::hurray:

hey girl,
wanted to thank you so much for the heating pad tip. i sometimes put my hot water bottle on my stomach in the night and it does help a little but never thought of the heating pad idea. i was actually going to buy some heating pads tomorrow after reading your post, then the post after was from a girl who mentioned these days there are heating pads to target the area and can be worn on one's underwear and lasts about 8hours! i think that's the one i'll look out for. as it is my monthly period bills are for: tampons, pads, pain-killers (that never work), and now heating pads.....so i totally agree with what you said....guys just don't know! lol! have a g'night hun xoxo

I'm hoping mine will be done with by tomorrow! And I agree, Cherry. Men just don't know!

BTW, Congrats on the loss, Dreaming. Keep us posted when you find out how many inches you're down! :)

My plan is to lose 10lbs a month, if I lose more that's cool too. If I lose a little less, that's alright, but my goal is always 10lbs. That way I'm not losing it TOO fast. I could certainly be losing more too if I exercised more.

Yeah the thermacare ones are supposed to be good. I should try those. It'd be really good if you're on the go a lot.

Another tip too, I massage my stomach area and my thighs. I massage right where the pain is, and that helps too.

Anyway, have a good night. Er, or a good day, I haven't got the hang of UK time. lol.

OMG, So I'm going into the store today and I almost fell on a puddle of water! I kinda did a skidding action, but was able to balance myself before I hit the floor. But nooow, my back hurts! I'm pretty sure I just pulled a muscle. I called the store manager and told them about it, and he said to come in tomorrow to fill out a report.

I am totally not one to "take advangtage" like some people do, complaining all the time. I would just rather put the whole situation behind me. But my mom is the one that persuaded me to call the manager. I mean, I could have fell and really hurt myself. Can you imagine 300+ lbs falling hard on a cold hard floor. OW! But anyway, I think I'm gonna muster up all my courage and go fill out the report. Doing something like this is really hard for me, I'm not one to cause a scene. If the pain doesn't subside and if something is seriously wrong I will wish I of. If it's just a muscle pulled and nothing is seriously wrong then I'm just gonna forget it ever happened.

But anyway, other than that I did pretty good today. A nice workout at Curves and a good weigh in this morning.

Wowsers.. sorry to hear about the fall.. and yes definately do go fill out the report form.. my Mum fell really badly once in a Supermarket car park and broke her arm.. well no one on staff came to help her (even though a whole bunch of the cashiers where outside smoking!!!) another Customer helped her and then the Supermarket head office sent some really aggressive guy around to "discuss" any potential claims!!! Unfortunately she is very gentle soul and no one could be there the day he came round.. still makes me furious that she wouldn't pursue it!!!

hey dreamingblue,
so sorry about the near fall! and maybe like you say just in case it's better to fill out the report. i hope your back is better? and that everythings ok? like you say at 300+ it would not be a good thing to fall.

about 3 yrs ago i had a really bad fall that scared me senseless, i had just had a bath and when getting out my right leg slipped while my left leg was still in the bath i was going to fall face flat then on my way down my face hit the toilet seat, then i just collapsed on the floor in a big heap, i first of all lay there for like 30seconds in shock that i'd fallen, my face really hurt (my left cheek bone which had hit the toilet seat), and my knee and a few other parts, then i started crying there alone and naked on the bathroom floor i was crying because i was so mad at myself for getting to this weight to the point where i could almost die if i had a fall. as i got up i realised i was okay apart from some hurtful bruises here and there and my face hurt abit but i didn't go see a doctor (because i didn't want to be told i'm obese and should loose weight), gosh, the things i've done i'm so not proud of. luckily i guess everything was sort of a surface or minor injury so was okay soon after that. i remember i was so embarassed i didn't even want to tell my family, then i told my mum later that day expecting to get the usual you need to loose weight talk but instead she really sympathised and even almost cried!. all i can say is that at this weight falling is one of my biggest fears.

Aww, Cherry, I am so sorry that happened to you. I completely understand we're you're coming from, about being so upset that you let yourself get that large.

I don't even really see myself a large girl until I look at pictures of myself and I'm like OMG. Or when I feel my knees so weak under this weight. Or when I go into large women stores and I still can't find a pair of pants big enough. It's like a scavenger hunt.

I have fallen before at a large weight and luckily it was inside on soft carpet. But I felt like a boulder falling downward.

It's so scary.

Thanks for your story.

OMG! That's terrible. I hope she didn't get hurt too badly. :( Some stores and people in it are just soooo rude.

Eh, today was a terrible day at Curves. I was sooooo slow. I just feel drained. I dunno why. I'm gonna go to sleep early and get a fresh start for tomorrow.

Falling is scary at any weight, but especially when you're overweight. I did a lot of walking outside in the winter and I fell twice landing on my right knee. Only after the season was over did I discover something called "YakTrax". Best investment ever if you're scared of falling.

I'm sorry you had a bad day at Curves, Dreaming, but like you said, some sleep is probably all that's needed. You'll feel better in the morning :)

aw, sorry about that, some extra rest will do you good...hope you feel better tomorrow.

hey ymcachick, i just googled yaktrax and it looks like it's just what i need for the winters (thanks for that!). i hate winter most of all because once the snow starts melting i can BARELY walk! i look at all the thin people walking at their normal fast pace but i think because of my weight i have to walk really slow and carefully to make sure i don't slip and fall...whenever i'm walking on melting snow it usually feels like i'm doing some balancing act at the circus!
