Don't try this at home

I know the feeling. You don't find many guys who want to dead, squat, bench and row all in one session. They all want to do cable flies and curls.

The joy of trying to sort life out. Missing a lot of training, and got a call just over 2 miles into my run.

Suffice to say life is getting sorted but training is not going well.

I'm with you on the lunges. I used to do them with a straight bar on my back. The heaviest I ever did them was around 155 or so, and that was on a fantastic day.

My lunges are currently straight bar high on back, my worst type, step lunges would be worse but cant see how I would do those slowly.
I keep doing them in the hope I will improve and likely have but still rubbish at them. Don't know my max, but I think you beat it.

The only good thing I can say about my old gym was that the room where the cage was, was a yoga room, so besides the cage, there was nothing in there. I used to do a clean and press, bring the bar down on my shoulders and lunge across the room and put it down, rest a second, and do it again back across the room. Did that 6 times. That was always the last exercise of the week before I had, at least, two rest days.

Hate walking lunges. I have a valid excuse for not doing them at the moment, lack of space.
Of course when fair weather returns that will be out of the window, due to having walk handles and using them outside.

Tony makes me wish I still had my treadmill. I miss running, but it's entirely too cold now to go out. It hasn't been above freezing in days, and working so much, by the time I get off in the winter, it's already dark out.

I got today's training done. Not sure it was a god idea, but I am glad I did it.
I need down time at the moment. See how it goes.
I run midday now because it's lunch time. Last job I ran two of the days for commute so got used to the dark, cold wise my colleagues used to say a definition of absolute zero was when I stopped running in shorts. Yes I've always been weird with the cold.

This years targets are something I haven't done for a number of years, making myself prettier, so I guess I need to log how statistically ugly I am now.
Idea is to gain mass and trim fat, not easy and of course very slow. Bad start to the year when not managed much training and ate junk over most of the festive season, but that happened.
Using body fat scales, they won't be perfectly accurate but using the same device will give consistently inaccurate measures.
13st 6.4pounds which is as heavy as I have ever been. 17.8% fat which is very high for me while training but better than I expected, considering recent inactivity.
Abs are forming a loosely outlined 1 pack. Not done photo, will do that tomorrow.

Statistical ugliness is important. I'm in the pursuit of prettiness atm, too. Probably should have taken some sort of measurement other than body weight before I started my current cut.
