Does weight lifting burn calories..?

I was thinkin and if you have some intense cardio before its even better because your HR will keep high... is this logical?

Not sure, but I know from experience it's damn impossible to keep your HR high if you do cardio first. It always drops back down to the HR I normally have during weight training.

hm oh ok.. because I notice that while Im weight lifting my heart bangs a lot but i never really tried it without the cardio first

But the question is... do you want to do intense cardio, burn some of your energy stores, feel tired, hot, sweaty, and then go try to lift heavy weights effeciently and effectively? If not, then I'd recommend lifting first, and then cardio...

yeah..it sounds good, but not on legs day, because my legs are too sore after the train..I usually reduce drastically the cardio time on legs day

good idea...however...cardio is aerobic exercise, lifting is anaerobic, so because cardio is more along the lines of a marathon, while lifting is like the 100 meter dash, you won't maintain the higher heart rate consistently.
There is nothing wrong with cardio after a lift, especially the next time after legs to get rid of the lactic acid build up, but it makes a great cool down too.
