I’m sorry but that first image is horrid. You’re idea of beauty is completely warped, she must be 15lbs underweight.

The photobucket link is even worse- those girls are all in the gawky adolescent phase. They are NOT women, they're little girls. And quite honestly I find it disturbing that they are posing in such provocative ways and publicly posted. Of course as the mom of a little girl I'm probably more sensitive than the average person!

I LOVE HER! she is curvy and thats awesome...this is my new inspirational photo now lol good choice!!

even tho she is airbrushed!! i think her body is perfect

I find that using other people, especially famous people isn't motivating in the long run. Most of the time they're unreal expectations that won't be met, and you'll be let down.

Just seeing a picture of myself, or seeing me in the mirror and being unhappy with how I look is enough motivation.

My problem with that is that I've always been chubby lol so any visualizing I do of myself needs a little help via photo motivation.
(for reference at my healthiest weight in high school I was 5'4 170lbs and I was lifting 3x a week and running 3 to 5 miles every day on top of field hockey practice or track sprints)

I agree that first photo is disgusting. WAY TOO THIN IMO! I was even bummed out a little bit when I saw Katharine McPhee's photo. She looks good but she lost too much weight if you ask me. I thought she was perfect the way she was. Now she looks really tiny. I think I prefer the Kim K photo. I know she went through a stage where her "bottom" did seem to be a bit disproportionate but I don't think she looks that way anymore. I assume the photo posted of her was a more recent photo.

For me, if a girl is going to be thin, she better have some muscle. My wife, who's 5' 6" tall, had always been around 140 pounds most of her 20's but last year, at age 32, she reached a low of 120 pounds. She did not look too skinny because she got there by losing only fat and she probably even gained some muscle. She basically looked like a toned version of the Kim K photo posted on page 2. I'd love to post the bikini photos I took of her last year but apparently there are too many trolls surfing this forum and stealing real people's photos for there own uses.

I don't really have a guy I'd like to look like. Almost sounds a little gay to me. LOL I just want to look like myself without my spare tire. :D

I think McPhees weight is ideal considering her ribs/torso seem to be very round. When you are that round in the ribs, even a little weight makes you look like a sausage lol

Katharine is beautiful, then and now. She just looks so tiny now. I guess I'm not used to seeing her that way.

This picture of Cindy Crawford tearing up bread works for me on many levels. First, she's a mommy and about my age. Second, I think bread and carbs were my downfall and clearly she does too. Third, the image of tearing something up works for me. I'm going to tear up the exercise today. Plan on doing 45min TurboJam Cardio Party and Turbo Sculpt (45 min) ... don't know how this will work out as I'm a bit sicky today!

Ok well here is a link to a photobucket account I have that has a few pictures of some inspirational pictures. some of them are a little thinner than I will ever to be but they are so beautiful.

Uhh yuck. Those girls are not motivation for me at all. I don't mean to sound impolite but I think they look too skinny to be honest. In fact all of the pictures on that photo bucket look like "thinspiration" photos a lot of girls with eating disorders carry around.

Olivia Wilde from house...yeah though my boobs will not be like hers mine are too big but i like her body shape even i find her sexy and i do not swing that way.

Shes a tad skinnier than what i would want to be but shes got abs, and she isnt rail thin like some people, and shes got a booty and some thighs

Ok, when I was first shown this thread, I thought it was quite humorous. But, when I actually read through the entire thing and saw the pictures that people found to be motivational, I immediately stopped laughing. And, I feel as if I need to say a few things.

My name is Leah and I have always got the most inspiration from photos. There are so many pictures I look at the keep me going, and so many of the before and afters on here do the same. But there is one picture that I think is just the best at revamping my drive to succeed and I'm not even sure why, Please share yours with me.

this is mine:

First of all, that picture is fucking disgusting. I've seen 3 year olds with larger stomachs and thicker arms than that. Seriously...that's not a joke.

And, look in the background at the hairspray cans (or whatever they are). Now, notice how her arms are the same size as them. Seriously, look at it. If you can honestly tell me that you find that sexy, then you need a wake up call about what is and what isn't healthy.

No offense (to each their own), but how anyone can find that body to be sexy is just beyond all comprehension for me. That girl is sickly skinny. That's not sexy...it's pathetic. It's such a perfect example of the gross overexaggeration that people go to (especially women - especially younger women) in order to feel good about themselves. And, it's sad that people actually find motivation from bodies like that, as if they are what we are "supposed" to look like.

People need to stop looking at movies and magazines for their definition of what a "normal" body is. All of the shit you see on TV and in magazines is one huge lie that's being sold to you in order to get you to feel bad about yourselves. That way, you'll go out and spend a bunch of money on unnecessary bullshit in order to help you get that "Hollywood" body that's being flaunted in front of your face. They're lying to you, people - so stop believing what you see, because it's all bullshit - case in point...

this shape cover is taped by my light switch in my bed room. its katherine mcphee. i absolutely adore her body and ill get there soon! hehe

^^^^^
Every single one of those pictures is Photoshopped. AKA - that's not what their bodies really look like.

Those pictures have been airbrushed in order to get rid of the so-called "flaws" in their bodies. Flaws, by the way, which aren't even flaws at all. They're just considered to be "flaws" because our society (especially the media) has such an unrealistic, bullshit standard when it comes to beauty. How many women do you see on the streets that have those bodies? Honestly? Not many. I lived in Chicago for a while, which is filled with "beautiful people" and I hardly saw anybody that looked like that. So, I don't know where you people are getting your definition of "normal" or "sexy" from, but it's certainly nowhere on Earth.

Seriously, people...wake up. We (the people on a WEIGHT LOSS FORUM), of all people, should realize that regular people don't look like that.

she isnt rail thin like some people, and shes got a booty and some thighs

HAHAHAHA, that's the funniest shit I've read all day. She isn't rail thin? I just so happen to have a rail sitting next to me that whole-heartedly disagrees with you.

What? What's that Mr. Rail? You think she's skinny? YOU, a RAIL, think she's skinny? HAHAHAHAHA, you're right...she does need to eat a cheeseburger!!! I've taken shits bigger than that too!!! HAHAHA, oooooh, Mr. Rail...
