Yeah, It just dawned on me that pretty much most adults drink coffee (except for me), although it doesn't say anything much whether it helps them lose fat.
Nevertheless, I was thinking of taking a cup of black coffee before doing a HIIT session early in the morning. Would drinking a cup o' coffee help me lose fat in general and would it have any side effects? Would love to hear your comments about this.
Yes, I drink coffee, especially when diet is low in carbohydrates at certain points in my goal position (for its duretic effects).
The stumulating effects of the caffiene in black coffee is a minor player, when compared to the composition arrangement of your fat loss goal (composition arrangement being: Calories, macros, and exercise).
Caffiene can increase one's heart rate (slightly, and more on others dependent on sensetivity to caffiene), and it has some minor duretic effects on some persons (basically can make one piss a lot, dependent on consumption). The stimulating effects of caffiene are negligible (IMO), when used alone.
What I would be more concerned with, If I were in your position, and wanting to lose fat tissue is learning about the big three: The personal calories you need according to your personal particulars, setting up an idea on your macros in grams, and developing an exercise program. If you wish drink coffee (this is fine), its not going to make or break your fat loss, but the big three will. Just be mindful of what you put in it, such as creamer and sugar.
best wishes,
Chillen
