Wow 6 pounds is awesome and what sensational pics too. You are absolutely stunning. I must say I really like your attitude when you do mess up. It's so much better to move forward than beat yourself up over it.

Congratulations Diva!

I'm so glad the bad day didn't get you down! I was wondering about those shakes you have in the morning...are they filling? Do they taste good? :D

Hello... CONGRATULATIONS on your 6 lb loss!! I just saw your pictures and you are so beautiful!!! You will at your goal in no time! I think I agree with everyone else when they say they want to eat your food! I read everyones food entrys and they make me so hungry!!! :) Keep up the great work! Have a nice day!!:)

I'm BBAAAAACCCKKK!!!!

Hi Everybody!!!

I missed you guys :D - did ya miss me LOL!

I know I have been MIA for 2 days - but never fear - I have not fallen off the wagon YAY! My little jog each night is kicking my butt though! I didn't workout Tuesday, but I did run 30 min (340 cals) last night! Felt great - I am a little sore - I just need to do some yoga and really stretch out. It is nice to see my quad muscles again (how I missed them LOL)

I didn't write down everything I ate over the last 2 days - Bad Girl *slaps own hand* - BUT I did stay below 1500 - actually on Tuesday I tried to zig zag and stayed below 1300 and felt HORRIBLE. 1300 is too low for me while I am still nursing - especially if I WO!

:) THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR INSPIRING WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT!! I am on my way to your sites to return the favor - and check in on ya LOL :D

The shakes are good - they have 100 cals and 15 g protein, no sugar (Splenda I think); and they taste great - no chalky aftertaste! My hubby especially likes the Cookies N Cream. ;) Anyway, I know you like Wal-Mart (great place - I might add) - that is where I get mine from. :p

So far today:

7:30 am 1 French Vanilla EAS (100)

9 am 1 cup frosted shredded wheat, 1/2 c 1% milk; 1 small peach (285)

JellyBelly Water (hey girl, we should market this ;) ): 32 oz

I will update the rest later....I have some wonderful, deliciousness planned for today - so stay tuned :p

PS - I lost another pound!!! That's 8 this month!! YAY! My official weigh in is Sunday AM though - so if it stays gone I will move that palm tree!! LOL

hi divamommy :D just read your diary for the first time and its fantastic! i laughed at your son's pea escapades :D you have the best energy i've come across for ages, thanks for sharing :)

oh and your pics are beautiful, and a big congratulations on losing 8 pounds already!

Hi Diva, just checking in to say Hi! Have a Fit Friday! :D I'm going to Wal-Mart tonight to get my daughter a purple bean bag chair (we're redesigning her reading area in her room) and I'm going to look for those Protein shakes. I'm hoping for a chocolate one, but the Cookies-n-Cream sounds yummy! Thanks for the tip!

Hi Everybody!!!

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY! WOW! lol :d

I logged in last night and updated my food and then when I hit "Submit Reply" it made me log in again and my entire post was gone - I was too tired to write it all again!

Here's an overview - it was a good day! I had a CHOCOLATE fit and I am proud of myself - I put an almond in a little two bite brownie from Whole Foods with a tablespoon of their store brand cookie dough ice cream on top - DELICIOUSNESS and only 137 cals - not bad for REAL chocolate LOL :D.

The only thing is I didn't exercise --BOOO!!! :( My hubby and I ended up spending my exercise time lowering my son's crib to the lowest setting - took longer than we supposed!! It's funny - yesterday I walked into his room after his nap (I could hear him having an in depth conversation with a Moo Cow) and homeboy was standing up holding on to the rail with half of his body ABOVE the rail - YIKES! Thank God he doesn't realize he can get out yet - BECAUSE HE CAN'T CRAWL OR WALK YET!!! Whew - excuse my outburst LOL :)

Anyway - my goal is to keep on top of my eating today and exercise today and tomorrow to ensure that I remain 155 for my weigh in Sunday morning! :) I REALLY want to move that palm tree down!!

FOOD DIARY:

8 am Morningstar Vegetarian Breakfast Sandwich (280)

Low cal, tasty and FILLING!!) (total - 240)

3 pm Open faced tuna sandwich on light wheat bread w/ 2% cheese sl (240) Two mini brownie desserts (250) - Ouch -dessert was MORE than the sandwich!! (Total - 490)

HAVE a DIVALICIOUS DAY!!

No exercise?! I don't know what your son's crib looks like, but my daughter's was super heavy (big ol' sleigh bed thing, what was I thinking? lol ...so changing the height setting on that bad boy WAS a workout, or maybe I just went about it the wrong way, which is very likely. At any rate she made it through infancy safely with my lack of manual labor skills! :D :D

I'm going to try those Morningstar Breakfast sandwiches. I LOVE their Spicey Black Bean burgers!! Yummy

You know what bugs me? That these companies don't make breakfast sandwiches with whole wheat bread. My daughter wanted those Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits but I'm trying to keep us both off of "evil white flour" and there wasn't ONE box of those things made with whole wheat...at least not that I saw. Are Morningstar's made with whole wheat? *OHD crosses fingers and waits for the answer.*

You going to want to scream!

A: Nope - Hmmmm? maybe we can market this!! Then I'll never have to lower a crib again - Ohappy we'd be so rich I'd have a special person hired just to lower the crib - he'd be called our Diva Crib Lowerer Person ROFLMBO!!!! :D You are right it was a WO!

The Morningstar ones are okay - filling - but just okay. Just this morning I thought it would probably taste better if I made my own - maybe whole wheat eng muffin w/ Canadian bacon slice or turkey bacon strips, low fat cheese, egg white or Egg beater?? I bought the Morningstar one as a quick low fat option - I like vegetarian items, tofu, etc. But I am just a wanna be vegetarian - I was born and raised here in Texas - so *says with a twangy Southern drawl* "ain't nothing like a good ol' rib with a little sweet & spicy BBQ sauce" LOL ;)

:D :D ROTFL You are CRAZY! I can hear you saying that!

As for the whole wheat biscuits, I can't believe no one has thought to make them yet! Maybe you're right, maybe we should do it...so you can get that "Diva Crib Lowerer Person." ROTFL :p

That DIY breakfast sandwich that you described sounds verrry good. I completly wasn't thinking, I have some whole wheat English muffins! I'll give that a try. That's a great idea, thanks Diva!

Hey there DIVA!
Your breakfast sandwhich does sound yummy and I am trying to keep up with breakfast thats a new thing for me so far outta 3 weeks I missed 4 breakfast's not bad for some1 who nerver ate breakfast.Give it time gotta feeling your palm tree is gonna make a big jump soon!
And as for the crib situation those are a pain in the butt, my son is only 5 months right now but in a few months I am sure we are going to have to ajust his!Keep up the good work and you look gr8 in all your pics!:) Tammy

You are doing great Tammy!

*****************************************************

Well, I had a great day until tonight! I went out to eat with some friends without a plan and without drinking enough water!!! WHAT WAS I THINKING!! I went with them to Chili's - had the forethought to look at their nutritional info BEFORE I went - but then when I got there I ordered without thinking it through - WHY!?!? I am so upset with myself! I ended up ordering the Chicken Tacos with black beans and rice as a side - I ate two thirds of it along with a virgin strawberry daiquiri - GOD HELP!!! The meal alone is 1200 cals - so I had AT LEAST 800 right there!!! PLUS about 3-400 with the virgin drink! I am so mad at myself - I am NOT ready to eat out at all!! I am going to go run now to try to offset some of the damage and not blow my entire week for one stupid meal!!!
