lol yeah we had some left over veggies in the fridge from last night and like 3 this morning i wanted to eat so i finished them off and my wife just called me to ask where they were and i was like i ate them :(

but at least it wasnt ice cream like it used to be right? or should i still not eat at all like that?
 
veggies at 3 in the morning...or is it ok that i eat broccoli and colliflower and carrots....not cooked in butter but grilled in a skillet with evoo

eating right.....cutting out the wrong foods and training myself to understand what sticks to my insides and what helps to burn the fat and go throw me??? lol

It's that simple. The amount of calories required to maintain 500 pounds of human is huge. For whatever reason, you're bouncing back and forth between controlling calories and not controlling calories.

It could be a matter of diet set up. You're being too rigid or restrictive, thus you wind up bingeing later.

It could be psychological... almost like you're addicted to food.

Whatever the case... you need to identify it so you can begin working towards a solution.

You could get away with eating 3500 calories per day.

Now...

Give me a reason why you couldn't stick to 3500 calories per day?

that is a big component however i dont believe in addiction i just believe i give in or just completely dont even think about it and eat the wrong things in week moments

ok ok this is a continues process....i keep seeing that the more i learn the more i have to consistantly remind myself of WHAT i have leared, i know and educated man is a champion.........i just need to consciencely make the right decisions....the wife and i are going shopping this afternoon for food....any tips??

yesterdays meal chart


breakfast Oatmeal= 300 calories


lunch Pan grilled salmon and veggies = 300 calories

dinner two chicken breast 300 calories
three cups veggies 80 calories
salmon steak 250 calories
2 turkey sandwiches wheat bread mustard only 500 calories


so yesterday i ate around 1700-1800 calories and i ate most of them at the end of the day cuz i was nasty hungry.....but i was full when i was done.....how should i change that up???


could i bring the sandwich stuff to work and eat two sandwiches through out the day???one before lunch one some time after??? what could i do different cuz i know eating the majority of those calories at 6 in the evening is not gunna work
 
More importantly you need to focus on when you don't eat like this. 17-1800 calories for a man you're size is very low.

If you ate like this consistently the weight would be falling off. Simple as that.

So how many times per week don't you eat like that?

I think the core issue is that he's already lost 250 lbs. Yet, you're acting like he's defeating himself somehow. I don't understand why you're trying to dig around for some deep-rooted issue. Dude, he's already lost a ton of weight. Pat him on the back and tell him that he's doing an awesome job (because he is). Don't poke at him and try to create some sort of issue that doesn't exist.

He's overweight, he knows he's overweight, he knows he needs to lose weight and he's doing it quite successfully. Leave it at that.

It's no secret that DarkWhispers was me... all I can say is losing weight at 500 lbs is easy on paper. So if it's not happening, there's obviously an issue at hand.

Disciple joined us months ago and he's still hovering around the same weight he was when he joined.

Knowing the math of it all, if he's not losing, what do you propose the issue is if it's not something deeper than he has conscious control of right now?

Also, Disciple... if you don't like my two cents or it's offensive to you... by all means... just say the word my man. I'll be out in a second.

I've made it very evident from day one I'm not here to coddle you. Support is great, and I think I've given you that over the course of your stay here. But I've also given you some tough love, admittedly.

So again, if my "style" doesn't fit your personality... I'll certainly leave you be.

Awesome pictures, man. You guys make a beautiful couple. And damn you carry your weight well. Obviously a big guy, but you don't look 500+ at all.

Breakfast Oatmeal=200 cals

Lunch 2 Salmon fillets 3 cups veggies= 350 calories
1 buttermilk roll= 100 calories

and its already 3 oclock if i get hungry later i have oatmeal and then i will go shopping later for food

Well, if this is what you're eating day in and out for the next few weeks... your weight should come tumbling down. Let's see what becomes of it.

I'd like it if you'd log your total calories every single day. This is only as useful as your calculations though, so leaving stuff off or not measuring actual servings will make the log useless.

Would you say you eat well over 3000 calories on more than one occassion each week, including weekends?
 
yes i would say i have....in the past....i am really trying to make the effort to be aware this week, to walk around with my eyes open if you will......i want to beat this i just need to get back in the groove

Tripping now and then is part of the process. None of us are perfect. As long as we're happy and making progress, I don't see much wrong with tripping. If anything, it's an opportunity to learn from our mistakes, right?

It's when we trip too frequently and don't learn from our mistakes that we need to regroup and reassess what we're doing and why we're doing it.

You've have a big month here with the wedding and all that jazz. Your weight has fluctuated up and down.

Look at this as a new phase of your life.

Before you were on a mission to get married to an amazing women.

Now make it a mission about getting healthy for your amazing wife.

Make it a mission to get into the 300s and truly be the controller of your world.

The keys are in your hand... you simply have to put them in the ignition and hit the gas.

Today Breakfast 2 boost nutrition drinks 480 calories


i planned out my day i brought two turkey samwiches with wheat bread and mustard i will eat those prolly one before lunch and one after to fill in the gap and for lunch i will have 2 grilled porkchops and veggies to go with it and for dinner i will have 2 grilled chicken breast and veggies a total of about

1600 calories???? am i counting wrong???

the way i counted that was

nutrition drinks 480

oatmeal 200

2 turkey sammiches wheat bread mustard only 300

2 grilled thin slice porkchops 300

orange 80

veggies 80

2 grilled chicken breast 300

veggies 80

1820 calories


wow thats alot of food and i am still rediculously low on calories...well i guess i will eat some oatmeal later too i still have 2 packs left but that only adds 200 calories which will put me at 1800 OH and i have an orange i guess i can count that as 80 calories? its a huge orange


thats still alot of food and not even over 2000 calories
