Diary of a hopeful loser

Hey hun! I'm so sorry your having a hard time! I do hope you get your motivation back! The team needs you!! You have been doing great! And your almost at your goal, every few weeks I have weeks like this.. But hopefully your doing great today.. If not just keep your chin up and get back on track Monday!
 
Thank you, I am just going through a little phase, I'll be back on track soon.
 
Couldn't face weighing myself on Friday as I knew I wouldn't have lost any, it has been a rough week, but today I have stuck to the points and next week I want to do well to catch up on lost time last week.
 
Thanks for the support, I am not going to lie, yesterday was good, today I didn't overeat but I didn't stick to the points:( I think I need a kick up the butt! Someone help me!!!!
 
Hey fellow team mate! Just checking on you.. i was also wandering if you was doing weight watchers! That is great that you stuck to the points! I just wish now I could stick with the water!!

I am on weightwatchers points, I've got all the calculators all the books etc.. but at the moment I've got no staying power, I need someone to give me a telling off!!!!;)
 
Ok, so I'm sort of new here but here is my "pep talk" for you! Look how close you are to having a total of 10lbs lost, your a pound a way!! Don't lose steam now! I know it can be a real drag and darn right wearing on you to watch what you eat so rigidly and have to exercise, but you have come so far 9 pounds is quite a bit. If you did weight watchers for those 9 lbs you can keep doing it for the rest.

Just log on here when you want to veer off your planned eating habits. I know right now, that its helping me. Even if I"m talking to myself and nobody reads my diary or even if they do, I still feel more responsible for what I eat by reporting it back to this forum! So... just know we're waiting to hear from you!! :D Good luck!

Well mate im your girl for that lol. Im also on the ww points system and let me tell you it hasn’t always been easy, but I can tell you its worth it in the long run. I had 4 months of loosing the same 2 pounds and it was driving me nuts but I kept with it. This year I have lost just over 40 pounds, not fast like some of the other girls but lost it all the same. I still have a drink I still go to parties and I still eat most of the things I used to just not all the time. I still have a long way to go and I could do with a fellow ww to talk to along the way. I tell ya what you kick my butt and I will kick yours and by next Christmas we will be looking good hun... So mate eat your points drink your water and get your butt moving we are gonna be lookin gooooood.
do you think i have repeated myself enough yet lol???

Oh and post your food, water and exercise that way when you slip we can pick you up.:D

Thanks for your replies and going to all that effort to encourage me, you do make me LOL, and I am so inspired by you!! Well, I am just stuck and not losing, but not gaining, but I think you are right, I should write down what I am eating so I can either feel proud of myself or ashamed, and anyone reading this can analyse my problem,LOL!
So Far today, and it's very early morning, I've had:

Nettle and blackberry herbal tea.
OK, ummmmmm
A large pear, 2 clementines, another nettle and blackberry tea,
1/2 my sons unfinished fish fingers, broccolli, carrots and cauliflower with grated cheese,
2 glasses of wine
Chips/crisps (2 small pkts)
crackers and blue cheese
2 toffees
2 large glasses of water with pure lime juice

Thats it, sorry it's the weekend, not very good I know, too much cheese and chips/crisps.
I hang my head in shame!

Sunday 18th
Vitamins
nettle and blackberry herbal tea
small portion of roast lamb
6 small roast potatoes
broccolli, carrots
crisps/potatoes chips
nettles and blackberry tea
crackers and finish off yesterdays blue cheese

feel fat and fed up today, so much Christmas food around on TV and in house, children and partner do not need to diet, just me. :(
 
Hey hun! Just stopping by to check in on you! I know your feeling fed up.. I am too. But we can get through this together!! Just think... By this time next year we will both be 40+ lbs lighter!! ;)
 
Mate breakfast, ya have to have breakfast, if your not used to it and it makes you feel yuck start out with a piece of fruit, then for your snack you can have cereal or toast(breakfast).
The veges look good but the cheese will kill you lol.
The chips, blue cheese and crackers are full of salt and will make you retain water so that will show when you weigh in.
Do you count sugar points?
Excellent idea putting lime juice in your water.
I no its hard sometimes putting down what you eat each day but it will be such a good reference, you will be able to come back and see what you have eaten on a good week and what you have had on a bad week I need to start doing it again myself it helps a lot. Keep going hun we change our lives one day at a time.
 
Thanks rosered and Christina, your so understanding! I know I'll be better in the New Year, it's so hard at the moment. Your right I should try to eat breakfast, I don't like to eat first thing and I know that the salt in my diet is high. Cheese is a major problem coz I love it so much! There is no substitute.
Monday 19th
Vitamins
sardine and tomato sandwich
some chocs ( a present from work!)
clementines, bananas
shortbread biscuits
lots of water

Hey mate how you going today. Omg cheese was one of the things I loved as well, I still love it but it bites you on the bum…well it sticks to it anyway lol. I love bacon but since starting ww I have only been eating the eye of it, the other day though my hubby was sitting down having a full piece and I thought why not… so I stole some off his plate and had a nice big bite of the fatty bit, Omg I nearly chucked up it was disgusting, moral of the story we can change our habits over time just never give up.
