Hey cutie curvy! Cool that you got the book, that'll have some interesting tid bits that you'll need to share with us. Impart girl . When do you plan on taking the certification test? Sounds like a great idea for you. Would be cool if you built up a handful of rich private clientele where you go to their house or do a workout with them at the beach or a hike or run in the forest, ya know like you see the stars doing with their trainers. I would love a trainer just to push me to vary up my routine. I met with the trainer who offered for free and it was just fun to change things up completely, even though he doesn't appear that knowledgeable (he thought I was weaker than I am and I didn't ask for higher weights ha ha).

Brazilian Jujitsu
Last night was FUN!
My girl friend and I went with her boyfriend to the party in Menlo Park. A COSTUME HALLOWEEN party at that, and all the men there were in Howard's Brazilian Jujitsu class. The costumes were pretty funny, I must say.
So.....I met Diogo (like Diego but with an o), a purple belt in the class, originally from Rio de Janeiro and he's been in the US for only 3 years (but speaks pretty good English). He really really liked me an awful lot. DAMN BOY! Brazilians are.....no I am a cultural anthropology major, I can't, in good conscience, make a generalization about the males from Brazil and their courtship behavior. But I think I said "Damn Boy!" like, 5 times, GEEZ!!
Sad thing is--he's perfect for me. Just the age I like (2 years younger than me), had a cool costume (George Bush, pic below), all about fitness, training, and school (he'll have a black belt by the time he's 30), he can DANCE, he loves chocolate, he was born on my due date (August 8th), he likes me and thinks I'm funny, I think he's funny, he's totally cut and buff but he's not huge, he likes to run, he has medals for running and he has medals for Jujitsu, as a matter of fact he received FOUR GOLD MEDALS last week! But.....there just is no attraction for me, to him. Um, in his case, he asked about me in class today (said Howard, who went to the gym while Trisha and I were hanging out) and he was very blatantly clear about his feelings for me last night! DAMN BOY!! But no. I don't like him like that, and I think it has a lot to do with the fact that he's too much like me. That sucks! All I want is a BF who is a lot like me, but one I'm attracted to. WHY the fuck do I have to be attracted to men who are the opposite of me? DAMN IT!!
Anyway, Trisha and I slept til noon, Howard went to train, and we ate b-fast and went on a walk in the woods in...get this.....Woodside! HA! It was a nice walk! I had a pecan/cranberry/blue cheese salad for b-fast and also a Forbidden Rice and yam dish, Açai juice, and a chocolate cupcake For dinner I had PIZZA HA! Because I CA-AN, because I have a race tomorrow!!! (It is better to have carbs and not a whole lot a fiber for the last meal before the next morning of your race). I had ice cream late last night because I was hungry and exhausted, we got back from the party at 3 in the fucking morning. I drove, T and H were very happy to get hammered while I had Safeway soda water at the party. I haven't weighed myself and I plan on it later, like Monday or something.
Anyway, the BF, my true love, is on his way over (I'm back in the SC) and I want to take a nice warm bath and relax before he gets here. Bye!

Officer Dangle was a really nice guy--his muscles were RIDICULOUS and he works at a gym. He was explaining a few metabolic processes with me, and was asking me about my workout routine.
The girls were so TINY at this party! The one on the right was Border Patrol, a cute costume--I think Trisha was the whitest person at the party--most were Latino, Asian, Brazilian, or a mixture of that and/or white, too.
The Wet T-shirt guy was pretty hilarious. Now he knows what it's like to get your tits grabbed all night!
This guy was a "retired hooters" girl: note the saggage.

LOL For example, I really like that actor Shia LaBeouf from Transformers and Disturbia. I mean he's not hot, but he's cute in a dorky nerdy kinda way. When I was younger I used to watch Even Stevens and I loved him on their cause he was so hilarious. Now since then everytime there's a movie with him in it I'm like I have to go see it! So me and my lil sis who's 17 we'll be like let's go!! Imagine, a 17 year old (my younger sis) and an almost 24 year old .... OY! I mean for my sis it's ok, he would be more her age... I really don't know how old he is, he just seems young, lol. I just like his dorky funniness. LOL... but he does really well in his movies too.

But I am a bitch right now. I have a bad attitude! I suck. LOL!!!
The 5K race, I did 21:15. But the results said 21:21, which pissed me off, first of all. Second, my last 5K was 21:02. SO I was shittier than last time, in July. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! Third, the whole female UCSC track team showed up. I am a University of Cali, Santa Cruz alum myself--but these bitches are all about track, and ages 18-21. They basically came because they knew there was no competition at this race, so they could take all the medals. AND fourth, the age category went by the decade, so while I'm used to age cats like, say, 18-24, 25-31, it was 20-29!! SO 7 bitches age 20-21 placed before me, leaving me at EIGHTH in my age group, no medal for the first time in my life. HA! (Well, most of them were in a cluster a few yards ahead the whole time, so they didn;t do MUCH better than me) Still I checked: there were a few 50 year olds and 40 year olds in front of me (I was 29th overall for a few hundred people), but no one was older than 21 in front of me. SO I would have been 1st in an age category of 22+ to 30. Yay for that!
Still, yeah, I had a good time, my gramps also got shafted, he is 77 and the age cat was 70-79, so he came in 4th and he was also disappointed, but we are sore losers, we're a Leo and Aries, give us a break, we just want to WIN, ok?!?! Sue us! LOL!!! Nah we had a great time and my mom and great aunt also an, so it was a family affair, my stepdad cheered us on and also my great aunt and uncle's kids.
I weighed in at 149 so my diet backfired and I gained weight, BUT I am totally going to step it up and concentrate on deficits as I read my training book. ALSO I may start a new thread about reiterating my knowledge as I learn, I haven't decided yet.
