i'm very sorry to hear about your foot and the bee and all that rubbish but also you sound like youre still doing awesome. when's that triathlon??? and I HOPE YOU ARE FEELING FABULOUS muchos love x

Val I'm so happy the bf went back to charming and you're back to happy ;) Also I'm happy that the pain has lessened, so I hope you enjoy your bike ride. I LOVE that you're no housewife. I'm not either. That's certainly a good thing.

Well I went around poking my head in people's diaries, now I'm exhausted, I got to hear about Lena's crazy coworker, I got to see Rimay's adorable sons, I got to see a really cute picture of Kelly, I got to find out that Dee AND Claudia have been parytying like a rockstar, as have I.....what else......Stuco's losing weight like it's going out of style, Cerella AND Lena are stressed about money, and TOM is a psycho exercise addict and dropped down to 224. That is fucking amazing! Now I need to get my ass in gear.

:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

It's so hard to keep up on everyone's diaries! But just so you know, if you ever wanna talk about what's going on in your life in my diary, you're more than welcome! I won't think you're being self-absorbed.

I just looked at that wine thing. Holy fucking shit! The Nebuchadnezzar is enormous! And way cooler than the Nebuchadnezzar from the Bible. lol Leave it to the pastor's kid to make a comment like that, huh?

LOL LMAO!! Sunnydee was so funny!! Those bottles are huge!! DANG!! I'm glad you gave me the breakdown and update of everyone's diary's I have so much to catch up on now I can't stand it. LOL Everyone is so busy it's just really hard to post in all of them everyday. A few pages back you mentioned finding someone with OCD.... my hubby's first wife had it, and OH MY GOSH! She would clean the toilet then tell him he couldn't use it an hour later, because she just cleaned it, SAY WHAT??? Okay, now you explain to me, what the time frame is for using a toilet that just got cleaned. HAHHAAHHAAH That cracked my ass up!! She would also re-arrange the dining tables so that they sat exactly in the same indications they were in, WOW I'm not sure If I had enough strength to live with that every day, so KOODO'S to those people who do, and bless their hearts!! So, you might want to re-think that thought. LOL LOL Well, I'm so happy to hear you had a great time with your friend and you drank up some good brew and that your ankle isn't hurting anymore!! YEAH!!! Good news is always the best. I need to work really hard on weight loss next week, are you there with me on that one??? I need some motivation, someone to give me that extra kick. I mean I work out Monday-Friday, but I need someone to tell me to drink that damn water, I think maybe we should make a game of it. Maybe I'll try running more next week, I'm not very good at it, on the track I might be lucky to run around it 4 times without stopping, it hurts. Ugggg!! Well, I better get going the time is flying and I have nothing done!! Chow babes!

I came in 8th out of 430 women. That pleases me greatly!!! Wow can you believe that 45 year old got 20:42? Way to go!!!!

i think you got spam there.

congrats on coming 8th val :D i'm really proud of you :) btw i have seen bottles this big once on tv. but i understood these were only made for champagne.

Val, I'm so proud of you for coming in 8th, that is absolutely spectacular! You are too too hardcore woman!

You had me cracking up about your diary friends' lives. Yes, please do feel free to post your issues in my diary as well. Apparently we all have a bit of the "gossip" in us dont we to be so interested in each other's lives. But its fun and really does focus you back on your weight loss efforts. Now, after drinking the past 3 days and logging this in fitday, hunney I dont know how you do it! Yesterday I drank 1/2 pint of Malibu rum with orange juice and this amounted to almost 600 calories! Eeeeek. I'm frightened of the scale as I so rarely drink these days!

Congrats on the race, Val! Way to go! :)

I need to catch up in diaries too....way behind....but your little re-cap helped! :)

have a good-un! :D

Thanks Lena!!! I dunno about them being just for champagne but most likely!

Thank you!!!

Trust me, I DID NOT weigh myself today. I don't want to, I KNOW it's going to be high. I'm not sure if I even want to tomorrow!

Nontheless, today I'm tracking and counting and being good and also no drinking. Well, our company's trade tasting is this evening and I will be able to sample new releases from 33 different wineries. I'll SPIT!!

Ah, drinking! I sure do love beer. Kelly told me I may as well clock in at the brewery, I usually explain the menu to the customers if she's busy. I'm a natural saleswoman for things I believe in. Like beer and wine. LOL!

Thanks Tom, Kim and Bethann!

Sunny that was a SPAM post!

Mechelle, thanks and yeah, most people abhor even the thought of running!!:rotflmao:

Abhor the thought of running!? Crazy, isn't it? Actually, I once hated running because I found it too hard on my knees/hips. Turns out it was because I needed orthotics in my shoes. Now I looooooove it!

Maybe hold off a couple of days on weighing yourself. If you know it's going to be disappointing and just gonna piss you off, there's not much point. It can't possibly be such a significant gain that you really need to be aware of it. It'll be gone again in a few days if you stay on track. And then you'll feel good!

Congrats on placing 8th, Sonic the Hedgehog!

Mmmm beer... Do you guys have Mac & Jack's African Amber down there? I've been told its found in Cali, but I wasn't sure where. The brewery is here and they do tours. I'm glad they don't bottle their brew, so I can't drink it at home. It really limits the beer intake.

We're taking a trip to Minnesota Wednesday. I insisted that Thursday we go to New Brighton to the Barley John's Brew Pub where they make Dark Knight:

Dark Knight (Vintage 2006) - 13.5%abv :The Dark Knight is a bourbon barrel aged double fermented porter. In this case we brew our standard Old 8 Porter and then feed it more sugar to boost the alcohol content. Once the fermentation is complete the Dark Knight to-be is transferred to Bourbon barrels where it ages from 4-8 months, in this case 7 months. We used barrels from the Rip Van Winkle Distillery which housed their premium bourbon - Pappy Van Winkle - for 20 years. This is a very smooth and mellow bourbon which marries nicely with the dark and complex tones of the double fermented porter. We serve this one in a 5.5oz bourbon glass and it is designed to be a slow and enjoyable brew-apertif. Heavy bourbon nose that fades upon sipping, then the chocolate and malt notes from the porter dominate the middle and a slightly tannic/dry finish to complete the taste.

An extremely high rated beer and its named after Batman. What more could I want :) You are certainly a natural salesperson Val.
