Good Morning VBF! You did a wonderful ride this weekend, how I wish I could have rode along, how fun!! How was the hostessing last night?? I'm sure if these people aren't crazy they will move you to waitress or bartender in NO TIME, having you in hostess is like having Bob Vila taking over for Emril in the kitchen, you need to be where you do best and for you, it's bartending or waitressing. Not to say your not an awesome hostess, that I'm sure you have down, but you would bring them in more money in those other jobs, thus the reason they should switch you, I hope you get offered one or the other real soon!! :) I'm going to try and change up my eating this week, even though I lost increadable inches in June, my weight stayed exactly the same it didn't go up or down not one pound. So It's time to change up something I think. I'm going to try a new kickboxing class and see if I like that. I hope so, it looks like fun. Well, I better get going, I have so much to do. I'll chat at you later gator!

That is impressive! I like the way you pushed yourself and went the extra 30 minutes.To think I complain about 20 minutes on my excercise bike.Did you go alone?

Yes I went alone. It was pretty boring after 1 and 1/2 hours ;)

Food: Today I had cereal and blackberries and blueberries; pudding; cashews; cherries; 2 bites sample muffins at the market, and Salmon Salad with orange vinegrette that was REALLY REALLY yummy! Altogether 1300 calories for now.

I will not snack anymore until dinner, except maybe for a mango.

Tonight I am going to weight train and a lady from the gym wants me to train her. I'm excited! She's 5'4" and used to be 110 lbs :)eek: ) but now she's 134 lbs and wants to lose some baby fat. She likes me and thinks I'm in excellent shape ;) She says I should be a trainer. I already have two jobs!

Anyway, we're going to have fun and I promise I'll be easy on her ;)
 
Yeah, working out and showing people is fun! I love to encourage the women at our gym to take some of these cardio classes, most don't try it because they are intimidated, and think they will look stupid because they haven't taken the class like everyone else, then I get them to try it and WELLA! They end up loving them and going every week. It's so nice to see other people succeed and get excited too, that's what I live for!! You will do a great job with her I'm sure of it! Have fun!!!! And nice job on the variety of food today, YUMMY!!!!!!!!

Curves, I have a wine question for you please, at what room temp should I keep my reds?? It seems my Merlot's are not staying fresh for two long after I open a bottle. I know it's best to finish it up quickly, but honestly one glass every now and then does me just fine. Any suggestions?

Update: Back to 142.5 lbs--hey Tom dammit our WEIGHTS are cycling together :rotflmao:

Yesterday I was "training" Karen at my gym. She is 37 but acts like in her 20s (in a good way, not like immature). She said she chose me to latch onto because I was the "most athletic" in our Kickboe class. I was showing her deadlifts and barbell squats. It sure is hard to get people to have correct form--she was a trooper though, she was really trying to go below parallel :jump: I had fun, although my own workout was less intense, it was worth it and we're going to do it every Monday. I am NOT charging her ;)

So my hips are getting really muscular--I have new muscular bumps in the front and am wondering if it's ugly or OK looking. I can't take a picture because it's too close me my..nether regions, I dunno! LOL!! :rotflmao: I DON'T want to look like "Pink." LOL!! :rotflmao:

Today the BF and I are pouring wine in Los Gatos--it will be fun! And I get paid overtime, too. How nice! Everybody LOVES Rombauer ;)

Better get ready for work........
 
Good for you, Val, training Karen. Now there are two women in the gym doing proper squats and deadlifts. WOW!

That's a toughie--yeah that's why ideally one should have 2-3 people sharing a bottle, so she doesn't drink too much! There are CO2 dealys that are supposed to keep an open bottle fresh, and pumps, too--I have tried them, they work a tiny bit. It is AIR, not temperature that is de-freshening your wine. ANd there's not much you can do except DRINK IT ALL!! LOL! :rotflmao: No don't do it! :eek:
