Well I still have not be able to locate anything on this yet, but I did find this bit of important information I think I need to try. LMAO!!

This weight-loss calculator from FitWatch.com asked us to enter our weight and how long we planned to sleep. According to the ensuing calculations, a 160-pound person who sleeps eight hours will lose roughly 549 calories in the process. Not as much as we'd hoped, but not bad for doing nothing.

Before you sign up for the "all-you-can-sleep" diet, keep in mind there are better ways to burn calories while doing little to no exercise. For example, sitting while talking on the phone for eight hours will burn 914 calories. Driving a car for eight hours will knock off around 1,219 calories. And standing in a casino for eight hours will burn about 1,402 calories (though you may burn through some money while you're at it).

I'm flattered, but you know something?

Lately, I really haven't been interested in my body so much as I want to look sexy. I have been forgetting about my sex appeal. April I was all about it! Now all I think about it, "Why can;t I run faster? Can I lift more? I wish I could do more pushups. I need more endurance. Are my abs strong enough for this?" etc. It is pretty interesting!

At the same time my mental conversation is very positive about my appearance. This is a sharp change from talking shit about myself! You know what I mean.

Yes I know exactly what you mean, and I'm truly happy to see your feeling good about yourself and the way you look! We can tell you time and time again how great you look, but until YOU BELIEVE it there really isn't anything we can do for you, so It's a wonderful thing. I think you have the right focus now trying to figure out how to push yourself more on your workouts, that will certainly pay off in the long run.

Thanks Kim!!

Yesterday:

My cat had a bite wound on his arm, and an absess had formed. I rushed him to the vet and Doc drained it and gave me some antibiotics. Oliver was so good at the vet's! He is VERY intelligent--he's only 3 and he acts like a 100-year-old being. He's smarter than some people ;) ANYWAY, I was stressed by the whole deal, and I still managed to run in the woods afterward at 7pm. I had a bottle of champagne and baked a cake on a whim for my housemates. So no diet day yesterday.

Nonetheless, I did Cambodian ground-fighting this morning and weighed in at a mere 141.5 lbs, bleeding profusely. This period is HEAVY. I plan on Kickboe after work because no more Wine Class--therefore I'll get in 2 workouts today! Oh Happy Happy Joy Joy!

Only problem: weight training? When???? Tomorrow?

Wow Santa Cruz ha? I work for the county there. Are you still in the area? Oh by the way I am new here. Well I wish my pants would not leave those marks and I still look out when moving my arms, to make sure I don't end up slapping some one with the wings hehe.

Don't you just hate working out during these heavy days? That's how I felt at groove last night, YUK! thank goodness mine is only 3 days. WOO-HOO I'm needing some HUBBY LOVING in a bad way, why is that when your on your TOM?? HAHHA Oh here is a little kitty ~hug~ :hug2: for Oliver! I love cats, heck I love animals! I have two myself.

Welcome blanki. Good luck on getting those wings off :).

Poor kitty cat! My sister's cat had a huge absess in his throat that prevented him from breathing properly as the airway was getting more and more constricted. They thought it was a huge cancerous tumor in his throat and that he would have to be put down immediately, but luckily it was an infection so he's OK now. What a relief for my poor sis, being that she's preggers and all. Hope Oliver is feeling better soon!

Hi Val, just wanted to say g'day and hope little Oliver is doing okay. One day I'll post a pic of my kitty in here. His name's Cindy; my brother named him after his favourite model before he knew what sex he was.

Have a great week!:)

Although my arms ar toned now, my body likes to store fat there, and 20 lbs ago I thought my wings would never go away. I thank my lucky stars that my skin seemed to firm up lately--maybe it's youth--good old collagen.

The black and white pics sound really cool. Before I graduate, I want to pose nude for my university's Figure Drawing class. I can't fit it into my schedule in the fall....maybe I'll do it this Spring. Glad to see everything's going well for you!

Thanks! You'd adore Oliver, he's very cuddly and happy, purring and loving. He also understands English quite well, and listens, so sometimes I talk to him like he's a buddy-bystandard. Hmmm, he's heard an awful lot about my weight loss!! ;)

Hey Pretty Girl!
Abcesses must be pretty common among cats (bite wounds gone bad). Ollie had one in his FACE and had a tube sticking out and was a cone head last year. Grrrrrr he's expensive! Him and his fighting-fancy  Glad your sis's cat turned out great! Cats bounce back from abcess wounds really well.

Thank you!! Hit me up with the picture--I'll get one of Ollie in here, too!

Good for you! Talk about confidence! I'd still worry, "Are they drawing me fat?" Nah--J/K!! :rotflmao:

Today I learned I have a lot of frantic energy.

My Cambodian martial arts teachers was telling me about flailing and concentrating the energy. He said I have strength, and that I don't need to use it, but have to remain calm. Calmness is a plus in fights. Makes sense--blind fury is no good. My mom is/was very much full of nervous energy and restless. My dad called himself a "Natural Tweeker" (but not so natural in the end because of his meth overdose that killed him). I have to always remind myself to slow down, calm myself, let other people finish talking, etc. It is no wonder I eat fast.

It's part of my personality--maybe I'm thinking life is too short. I feel best when I get 10000 things accomplished in one day. I love it when I get 2 workouts in and a cleaning.

My oil is changed and my tires ar rotated. I am pleased.

Yesterday, I
--worked out in the morning
--worked out in the evening
--cleaned the bathroom and did laundry
--entertained 2 girl friends who had come to visit until 11pm

I ate to maintenance nonetheless! My appetite returned with my period, heh heh. Well, I did A LOT but something tells me that your body doesn't burn as much energy when you're truly fatigued. I don't know that, I just feel that. Either way, my hunger has abated and now I'm looking forward to my weight dropping.

Unfortunately, it went up 3 lbs overnight. Don't you hate that?! So it was 144.5 this morning, and I doubt it will stay there. I don't remember too much salt yesterday but you never know!

Hey Valerie, I know how you feel -- about the 3 lbs. change, I mean - not the other stuff. It's frustrating, but with that kind of working out, you'll be back down in no time. Good grief, what did you burn yesterday, 3,000 calories?
