Yes, there's no doubt about that: 1800 for an 8-hour work day plus about 350+ for the morning workout or more, plus 500+ for the evening, plus 3 hours of housechores and going up and down my stairs, over and over again and touring my house for the girls which is probaby 350 more calories...including any burn from the excess activity and I was underestimating the workout burn because I was fatigued. So yeah, 3000 +

I think this week was the week of the "3 pound mysterious weight gain" for some of us..I did the same thing from Tuesday to Wednesday...but on Thursday not only dropped the "mysterious 3" but 2 more that were refusing to leave the premises! LOL! Mine we definitely sodium related...salty pizza...ugh! Yours is probably hormonal...our bodies slowly let go of that water weight during our periods.

Good focus and workouts! It'll happen, Val!!

WOW you did a lot yesterday! I'm sure that 3 lbs will be off that scale in a few days, the TOM screws up the scale everytime! Once your off and going, you seem to lose the weight rather quickly, so I'm sure within the next week or two, you'll be back down to 139 no problem! Have a good evening tonight, don't party to much! :)

You're right, and I won't--I'm pouring wine for a winery from noon-5, tomorrow and Sunday for $15 an hour! YAY! Extra mula for me!! Thank you, and I'm looking forward to your scale reading Monday!

Man 15.00 hr, that's excellent for that type of event. And you'll have some fun as well, you can't beat that. Enjoy your time!!! I can't wait until Monday either, it better be a good weigh in OR ELSE I'm going to scream!! NAH, just kidding, I'll just pick the scale up and throw it across the room, that I will do!! HAHAHAH Later gator

Hi Miss JB!

Right now I'm at work, which is close to the winery, eating b-fast because i have nothing at home, and am going to leave in an hour. Going to check out diaries...

Last night I hung out with some more girlfriends and we went bar-hopping. It wasn't about drinking--it was about socializing. We chatted with many people and even danced to a band at the Blue Lagoon. It was a great time!

Before that, I went to the gym and did a class AND some weights. I don't think I ate dinner, which is bad, but I drank beer :( Well, it was only one night. Weight is down to 143 now, but I'm positive I'll see 141 again soon. Today I'm going to be working, pouring wine. I'll be able to sip wine the whole time, so I have to make sure to eat properly, or I might just sip wine and eat crappy stuff lying around like bread and cheese (delicious but not nutritious). I'm sure there'll be fruit--I'll fill up on that. I want to plan my week tomorrow---I always say that, but this time I want to execute that properly. Planning bedtime, chores, meals, and workouts actually sounds like fun to me--but daunting. Ha ha!

Anyway, time to visit....

Curves, I wish I could be there today to sample some lovely wines. I need to get my butt over to the local wineries here and pick me up some new stuff. My wine rack is getting low. I'm so happy for your BF, I'm sure this means good news for him, and I'm positive he will impress the head shed. Enjoy your wine today!! And EAT YOUR FRUIT!!! :) :) :rotflmao:
Have a good one!
Kim

well all i know is that i have some lovely blueberry wine at home :D and since i'm bored i just might have a sip of that...to help me sleep lol :)
but first i'm of to read that stuff on binging.
and congrats to your bf for getting steve wozniak to have dinner :) wonderful

Curves, I hope your wine tasting was a blast, I can't wait to hear all about your day yesterday. I hope your resting and enjoying a nice calm Sunday
Kim

Oh Kim, you're so nice! :)

No restful days, working AGAIN :eek2:

I love pouring wine, but MAN it is exhausting.

Perks:
--It's fun
--You meet really nice people
--You get to drink the whole time (sip!)
--You learn a lot
--It's nice to be outside all day--I was under an umbrella and it was a beautiful day in the country (winery is in an obscure town called Corralitos)

Not so cool things:
--No food! Bread and cheese
--You have to charm and charm, and it gets exhausting saying the same things over and over again
--Standing in one spot
--You drink the whole time ;)

Well, I'm working from 11:am to 5 instead of noon to 5 because yestereday there was a busy rush in that first hour.

Better eat my b-fast

If I was surrounded with wine, bread, and cheese, on a daily basis, I would not be able to lose weight period. Good for you for resisting as much as you can! The job does sound fun yet exhausting, I hope you have a nice day today though :)

Well, Sara, as a matter of fact I think I had too much yesterday.

And my weight is up to 144 lbs. I've been vowing and vowing to myself to get back to 139, and I fall into the same traps--eating my housemate's pizza, eating junk like cookies and cake just because they're lying around, drinking, using alcohol as a social tool.... I vowed that "June would be different", but I haven't made it happen--I'll be good from Monday to Wednesday and then I let stress, exhaustion, friends, and alcohol break down my reserve.

Wow! This is some good shit I just realized.

OK: I'm going to do better from now on. I know I've said this before, but I'll say it again. Also, the important thing is that I must be grateful because:
#1 I am fit and healthy
#2 I'm not truly overweight
#3 I will not let myself get unfit and chubby again
#4 But these are no excuses for eating junk and drinking too much alcohol--which is very important. I can be slim and fit, but if I'm eating junk, drinking, and not sleeping enough, it's still unhealthy--and it will catch up with me as the numbers creep up on the scale.
