Update:

Woke up at 6:05, put things in my car, made it to the gym. Ate 1 Luna bar. Lifted weights for an hour, showered, purchased lots of fruit, and just finished my cereal, soymilk, soy yogurt and berries. Looking forward to wine class.

Going to spit.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Italian reds!

Thanks, Mechelle--I have diligently been doing it every Thursday for a few months. Thursdays are rough: hour weights in the morning, 8 hours work and my usual 35 minute walk at lunch, then school from 6pm-9pm. Ugh!

Last Night

(Mechelle you have a husbad and kids--that's got to suck the BLOOD outta you!)

Last night my boyfriend called at 9:45pm (Wednesdays he always hangs out with his Russian friend in San Jo and comes home about 11pm) and said,

"Honey, I'm wasted, I'm not going to drive home tonight--I'll miss you!"

I was very glad he made the right decision, and I told him so--even though we hate not sleeping together. I acutally fell asleep at 10pm, woke up at 6 very refreshed--but once again, I hate waking up and he's not by my side.

This morning I got this really cute email:

"i can't wait to see you my love! it was terrible, sleeping without you! i want my chubby bunny!!!

*kisses*"

:)

Your boyfriend is too cute. Haha.
You're doing so well. Have fun in wine class. I know spitting will be sooooo difficult! But I also know you've got the willpower.

Gosh, Busy day for ya Valerie! (understatement!) Hope you are having a great one! Good for you for staying on course on Thursdays!!!!:)

Beth

Deanne: Thanks you sweetheart!

Bethann: I appreciate the compliment--to be honest, on Thursday mornings I always ask myself, "Why am I here?" when I'm tiredly lugging around weights and such. But then when it's over I'm proud that I actually followed through :)

Sophie: He IS a sweet thing! Love him! Thanks--I hate waking up ewarly so Thursday mornings are a bit of a test of will. WHat is a worst test is trying to diet on the luteal phase.

curves you have to read the post I put in Bruce's diary. I think we have a match coming on. LOL LOL let me know when your ready. ;)

Woah! You have been through a lot. Doing it the right way this time should work. I've lost 9 kg since I moved to Germany, don't really know why! Maybe I eat better, but I do know that I don't excercise more then before! :)

Hi luv, just checking in to see how your doing. You really are putting me to shame and I think your disciplined and determined attitude is going to help motivate me to those weights tomorrow. You see, today like a lot of days I was such a lazy cow. I get to work from home between 2 and 4 days a week, and I'm off fridays. You'd think I'd get my ass to the gym more right? So today I went downtown only to find out my boss was going to be out so there was no reason for me to show up (this happens often). I could've gone to the gym across from my job and still be home by 1pm to take my baby to the park. Well instead I chatted on the phone w/ my sister for 2 hours. I just got back from the park so the baby and I did get a stroll, but I dont know why I was so lazy about the gym. I just let myself off the hook way too easily most of the time. I need to check in with the more stringent exercisers' journals to keep me motivated!

What's this race about? This Sat right? How many miles???
