Tuesday Afternoon Update
First off, sorry if I haven't made an appearance in your journal if I haven't--I'm finding it more and more difficult to keep up with my subscribed threads. I wish everyone the best of luck and I'll make it in there again, promise!
Ok, today is a very good day. Last night I did a bad thing and skipped dinner, and had a lot of wine. Different types. I had the SCM Durif, and some Torii Mor Pinot Noir, Wilamette Valley (Oregon) 2004, and the delicious Sweet Orange Muscat from Claireborne and Churchill Winery. SO this morning I was pretty dehydrated.
My weight was a nice 140.5. I certainly hope it won't go too much higher over my period. Today is Day 26, P Time should be any day now. My ravenousness has passed, and today I'm proud to report I ate:
Usual cereal, soymilk, soy yogurt, strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries, AND a medium banana
Snack was 1 oz cheese and 2 crackers, and 2 Morning Star patties, and an apple
Lunch was a sandwich on sprouted wheat, with mustard, fakin bacon, lettuce, pickles, pepperchinis, tomatoes, avocado, and hummus.
That may seem like a lot of food before 1:30pm but I'll tell ya--it's not for me! I mean, it
is for me, it's just not a lot of food-certainly not lately

It's 1300 calories and that allows me a light dinner. Anyway, I have a facial (sounds relaxing, it is not--microdermabrasion is not particularly relaxing, damn my bad skin!!) after work, so I won't be free to work out until about 6:30, missing my beloved kickboe class and it may be darkish by then. I plan on running anyway--OR going to the gym to do HIIT on an elliptical....nah I'd rather be outside. The sun is supposed to set at 7:09....I may have to run on the beach instead of the forest. It might be too dark for a 50 minute run in the woods.
Anyway, I was reflecting on my walk to the beach at lunch today and realized something:
I've got to the point where I'm used to my new body. Just a week ago I was not used to being about 15 lbs lighter than I was in December--now I'm like, "So what?" What an ingrate! No, I am grateful, I'm also sometimes a little impatient to reach my goal. Yeah I'm going through THAT again! It especially comes around when I'm about to bleed and am bloated. Yesterday it was slightly uncomfortable to weight train with a slightly bloated abdominal area. Actually, in all consideration, my breasts and stomach are
not as swollen as usual for this time. But that could change drastically tomorrow! We'll see....
