Diary: Curvie Girlie: A Yo-Yo's Reformation

Time for an update

All right, I was 138.5 this morning--I'm cool with that. I did my walk, I worked out extra hard at kickboe class. I did eat a few too many wasabi encrusted nuts at home, and drank almost and entire bottle of sparkling wine last night. That, and the BF and I went to have sushi with my friend S.

By the way that was interesting! So yeah I make more paper than my BF--and I go out for sushi once a week with my male friend, S. S. and BF get along great, but S. is my friend, you know how that works. Anyway, S. tells me a lot about himself--as a matter of fact I learned what an awful sense of self worth the poor guy has one night when he was so drunk I had to help him to my car after being ta the bar for 3 hours (I wasn't drinking much). Anyway, I'm his closest girl buddy. We used to work together back in 2002.

Well last night I come home from the gym and tell BF that I'm going to dinner. "Where?"
"At Aqua Bleu."
"When?"
"9pm....jealous?*mischievously, joking*"
"*serious!*Kinda."

So I told him I'd buy him a roll if he wanted to come. He didn't want to cost me money but I told him not to worry about it. Before we left, he expressed desire to make love, so we did--which was a little strange, but I guess it makes sense since he quit smoking herb for now, that his libido is up. Anyway, we had a roll each, split a sea weed salad, and had a glass of Magnet 2005 Pinot Noir (btw our company provides almost all the wines on their list for this restaurant)

This wine is superb--but our company's reps have a hard time selling it because accounts think the label is hokey. I guess. I think it's kinda cool. Whatever! It's delicious--buy it!!

Anyway, I also had some of S.'s soup and when I got home I had more sparkling wine, so I probably didn't do too well in creating a deficet.

But this happens every luteal phase.

Old news.

I WILL be 136 by the end of this month--no matter how much I gain on my upcoming period!

Ugh, I'm gonna scare off my male readers with this talk :p

YOU WILL BE 136LBS BY THE END OF THE MONTH! I know it! Easily! I mean - through hard work but you are definitely working hard so you will easily make it! Ya know what I mean?!

I'm feeling all jazzed up because I lifted weights this morning and it was fun. Also the large cup of coffee I just annihilated may have something to do with it :) I am going for some big exercise time this weekend to push through this kind of plateau thing I am going through so wish me luck!!!

LUCK! Weights and coffee??!! You will DEFINITELY get through that plateau!!:D
 
Thanks hon, well you know I didn't mean coffee while I was doing weights! I am a good girl and suck down plenty of water while I do my rests between sets :) Now coffee might mean I want to do more weights! Or just do them faster anyway ;)

Reading about your struggles with weight makes mine seem so pitiful. I hate diets. Plain and simple. I always think to myself, how wonderful it would be to shed the excess weight.. but never do i actually follow through. I am always much to busy to take care of myself. i eat what is in front of me. I am still in high school and my parents usually cook the meals because i am too busy with AP courses and outside college classes..so if it looks good/tastes good.. i'll eat it. i really do need to stop. the funny thing is that i go to the gym a minimum of 3 times a week for about 2-2 1/2 hrs. BIGGEST PROBLEM: sugar. I LOVE IT. i literally consume one third of my daily calories from sugar products.
truly pathetic, i know. that is why i joined this group (today, in fact). i need a push in the right direction..

My parents like to party, and we hang out--they act like they're 19. So I wouldn't know how to treat parents anyway! :eek: Santa Cruz....a lot of hotels are pretty seedy--I'll get back to you on that one....

Well. Thanks Daise and Canon Man! I AM having an amazing weekend!

My weight was back up to 140 lbs, but no worries, it'll be down soon and I want to share with you my body composition test.

OK, using a system called "Bodyview" TM, My height, weight, age, measurements of body parts, and an ultra sound wand said this about me:

Body Fat: 28 lbs, or 20.1%
Fat Free Mass: 30.2 lbs, or 22%
Estimated water: 81.8 lbs, or 58%
Excess Fat: 0 lbs


YAY! Damn I'm a lot of water!!:D

SO I'm in the fitness category for body fat for women, and am "Athletic". This is great news!

I have no idea what it'll be at 130 lbs. I may get one done then, if I decide to continue on.

far as i know 20% of body fat is actually normal for women (i don't know where i read that). and i think you really look amazing now and i don't think you need to lose anything, but if it will make you feel even better than i support you all the way :D:D
