OK, update for today:
Secret weapon: Bananas!
I have a love/hate relationship with them. I loved em as a kid, hated them as a teen, and as an adult started to somewhat like them. I ate them a lot in Hawaii and the South Pacific. Here's what they do for me:
*satiate me
*put out my appetite
*stop my cravings for sweet & creamy things
I ate one medium banana (90 calories) between b-fast and lunch, and one after lunch--I don't have any desire to snack! I should have been doing this a long time ago!! I haven't even reached 1000 calories today!
B-fast: cereal, soymilk, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, soy yogurt
Lunch: 3 hearts of Romain Lettuce, 3 strips facon bacon, 1 tomato, 1/2 container pea shoots, 1/2 avodaco, 1 TBSP Sonoma Gourmet Ceasar dressing.
Only problem: I have no idea what I want for dinner because I'm not hungry.
Hmmmm. "The Banana Cure for Hunger," I think I'll do this more often and report back how it works.
