our bodies

I was thinking the other day, wow, I have 2 kidneys and a liver to metabolize my food. Priceless. (Am reading You on a Diet, a guide to waist management and learning how the body works).

You rock, Curvie.

Hello! Hope the workout rocked! Or you rocked the workout anyway :)
Thanks for the pic of Jake G :) I agree totally on the non-bony celeb figure as being the ones to wish for. I think Kate Winslet is great - anyone who looks like they eat food is always good - haha. Enjoy your Saturday night!

Seems like it's been really busy round here! I had to go searching for you diary! :) Going to go read your post now. I always carb-crave like crazy before hand and on my progress chart I see a bump above the trend line. Yes, I have added a trend line in my excel sheet of my weight loss progress. How embarassing! It has helped me accept those fluctuations more though. Okay, I should really save this for the thread over in the "On Topic" Section!!
Have a great day!

Yay for the celebrities who set an example by eating. Thanks for reminding us of some famously curvy bodies CG :)
and yes, you are right Photocrazed - I feel bad for Nicole Richie. She probably weighs less than I did age 10

AHA! A fellow Welsh person like me :) She really is one of the most beautiful women and very curvy!!! Good call!

Thank you, I am greatful every day for all I have, I'm so lucky to be this healthy, and I decided I'm going to stay in the best shape I can for the rest of my life, because it is an honor to my body and my mind. Hell, why not, right? :)

you do rock! i love reading your posts!

except for the "us" is trash part... i love us weekly!! LOL!! :p

Sorry, "US" is not trash, it's great fun, you're right! I'm just glad I'm not famous, how horrible to be watched like a hawk and have every bad picture of you printed for the world to gawk....*shudder*

You're welcome, Jake is so hot...and he seems really sweet and non-assuming, too. Ahhhhhhhhh ;)

Don't get skinny as in boney..... I hate that!

Love the attitude. :)

Thanks, Steve--all this good food and these vitamins and stuff are making me super-duper happy as in high all the time--I tell you, clean living feels even better than drugs--no come down! LOL!!!

And I shall NOT get boney...um, except I have really skinny wrists for some reason.... I hate that!

Nicole and Kate Bosworth and so on are victims with psycological problems. I really hope they get help, they don't seem like they deserve it. How aweful.

Yes! I forgot her...although in a few movies a while back she was bony-skinny too, I think in this one horror flick in the 1990s--BEFORE her marriage, ha ha! Hey, I'm part Welsh too--little bit.

I have skinny wrists too, relative to the rest of me. :)

Hey Steve, what do you legs and ankles look like? A lot of body-builders seem to have very skinny legs and ankles, that look funny. But I guess it's not their fault, due to genetics and loss of fat. Or maybe it's more, I dunno, does the body burn lower-body muscles when putting on upper-body muscle??

A lot of guys don't train their legs, believe it or not. I actually have always trained my legs equally, if not more than my upper body. I would still say they are a weak point on me, but improving.

What A Beautiful Day!

Sunny and warm! Beach lovely! Hmm, not enough of a cool breeze for me, but that's ok, can't expect perfect weather...

Day 25 of cycle, 143 lbs. Very nice!! How wonderful it is to be so light (for me, IMO) and almost raggin! I looked at my graphs, and on Day 25 of the past two cycles I did not go any higher, and my weight dropped significantly after. If I continue eating well and working out (no problem ;) ) I should be 143 for the duration of my actual period, and come out of it 4 lbs lighter at 139 by day 7-11 of my cycle. WOW! That's a prediction based on pervious data/empirical evidence. It is SO nice to be in the low 140s, even when it's right before my period! I ate VERY well this weekend, although over 2000 calories, I worked out like a fiend. No binge-drinking, either. So I'm happy--also I made a new recipe I never tried both Sat and Sun. Delicous and nutricious! And relatively low-cal (around 370-400 calories per serving). I don't have time to write much more (busy at work), but I will say this:

Today I'm not really craving much. I bought a miniature chococlate bar (dark, organic, orange-flavored, 190 cal) that satisfied me, and I'm weight training after work

CONVENTIONAL AND ROMANIAN DEADLIFTS ROCK!

Ladies, this exercise is great for the whole body, but especially for lifting the butt and shaping the lower back all sexy ;) Try em!
