April 2nd Reflection

OK, this morning, after a wild/fun weekend of too much wine, I stepped on the scale. I had been feeling skinny all weekend, but I was still worried about the number:

139.5

YAY! I had managed to stay under (just barely) 140! After all that! Well, the actual food I ate was delicious, healthy, and in small portions. But I drank a lot! Most was great wine, though! New frontiers Market in SLO has these excellent little salmon dinners--rubbed salmon on a small bed of brown rice, with steamed veggies and a little container of mango salsa. Perfect for me! I ate one for b-fast two days in a row! I prefer dinner foods above all others and the complex carbs, protein and fiber made me feel good for the hiking and drinking I did those days ;)

Looking at my pictures, I decided I look great, I feel great, and damn I have nice legs! Just kidding--they're ok ;) Anyway, I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing and if I get to 130 I'll assess if I like it there. If not, I'll just continue to maintain 135-140 or whatnot. Seems perfectly reasonable. I am just really pleased that I now eat better than ever, and have conquered my struggle with overeating--for the most part!

Ok, have a great day readers!

those are two very important things... especially to take with you as you age... the habits you build now will stay with you....

Hello again, I was just thinking about your feelings about your current weight. I realized that when I finally make it to 126lbs, my re-assessment of my goals weight - I'll be right at your current BMI.
You do look great and I am glad you see that! I hope I look as good when I get to the same BMI :)

I just finished checking out your new updated photos. You look so good and really confident. Keep up the good work CG.

Hello :) I'm so happy for you that you are happy with yourself. That is the most important thing of all! You are a great inspiration :) Keep it up hun.

Oh I'm sure you will! But one big point: we can't spot reduce and we can't control our genetic disposition to where we carry fat. I love my body, don't get me wrong--but I've always wanted two things: skinny upper arms and a skinny lower back. BUT that is where the most stubborn chub on me is--and I'm not 100% satisfied with those areas. What make it more difficult is I feel like my pelvic area and collar-bone area, and upper back are getting too thin--almost body. What a bummer! Ah well hardly anyone is 100% satisfied with her entire body  Looking forward to your pictures!

Why thank you Maleficent! Man oh man I wish I was fishing right now! I love to eat fish so much, I would have no qualms about bonking the thing on the head and ripping out it's guts so long as I ate it later. Actually, I'd feel great about fending for myself. Plus, sounds like a good time to drink some beer!!! Guiness, even--ok I need to cut that out!

On second thought, too foamy for a boat--Newcastle!
