Kim: My b-day is Saturday August 4th, but I will not be around the internet I don't think.....my parents don't have it.

Mechelle: Good grief! That is way worse than me! Are you moving from family, too? I'll have to check it out!
 
I'll be on my anniversary trip that weekend of your Birthday, so what about if I have a CHAMPAGNE toast to you on that evening?? I'm going to do that. At this place we are staying, they bring dessert and champagne to your cottage every evening, I'll make a special toast that night. :) COOOOOLLLLL!!!!!
 
Good news about the race. Happy to hear it. :D Your grandpa sounds adorable, by the way! Grandfathers are the best. My Poppy and I had a very close relationship. I would totally have run a slow race with him if he wanted. You're lucky to have that memory now. And you're very sweet for doing that with him. :)
 
Val Im glad you had a great time and all went well - You will always have the memory of him and his happiness and that is excellent!!!

Caliente Mami: Hell yes, I think this deed has made Gramps more happy than anything I've ever done--except be born!!! :D He's really sharp minded, and a blast to be around--he fascinates everyone he gabs to--and being Full Blood Native he pulls his, "I'm an elder" card on people, too--it's great! He waxes eloquent on Mother Earth and I love it!

Kim: oh yeah I'll be drinking bubbly too!!!!

Oh I hope the move goes smoothly!I am so happy to hear you ran with your grandpa that was really a brave and selfless act-just think of the memories and stories you can tell to your kids one day:)

Im glad you did it Val and it is great to hear how happy you are and how well it all went - also you were a BIG girl and a BIG person to not let your desire to win or be the best all the time get in the way of you spending quality time with your Gramps!!!:hug2: :hug2: :hug2:
