Dear Diary...

Yesterday was another great day.
Went to ladies night at the store in town, got a few good Christmas deals. They had tons and I mean TONS of sandwiches and sweets passing them around and they looked SO good...I ate nothing! Not one grain of sugar crossed my lips and it was easier than I thought! So happy right now!

Ended up with a head cold..which sucks. Decided to sip on some green tea and head back to bed. I have cardio tonight and don't want to be too drug out.

oh and cut up some chicken breast for a soup recipe I have, cut some strips to cook later and chopped up some chicken for quick meals, just heat and eat!

breakfast: omelette, banana
snack: orange
dinner: whole wheat pasta, 2 tbsp sauce, chicken breast, mushrooms, green peppers and carrots
snack: yogurt w. granola
supper: was gonna have shrimp but don't have much of an appetite, so gonna go with a slimfast shake
snack: choc. jello mousse
water: 2L/2L
exercise: 1hr cardio class
extras: green tea and sinus meds! along with a nap

Not sure how cardio is going to go with this head congestion..I just want to sleep!
Kids have swimming lessons before and it's soooooo hot in the pool area, feels like it's gonna be a loooooooooong night!
 
Cardio was good, worked up a sweat.
Only one move was hard after awhile...well, not hard but because of my cold I kinda got lightheaded and had to stop for a min. other than that all was good.

Looking forward to a great day 4 tomorrow!!
 
woke up starving this morning..what is up with that?
Still got my head cold, hate that! Still moving on...going shopping with dh today, got my dinner already packed, so no cheats! Gotta have week one cheat free!!

breakfast: one pc. of w.w. bread with organic pb and a banana
snack: yogurt and granola
dinner: brown rice, shrimp, spinach salad
snack: half a pear, hand full of dark choc. covered almonds
supper: 2 w.w. buns w. seafood salad
snack: lightly salted chips and dip (equivalent to a small bowl)
exercise: might take today off..depends on the weather and how I feel after shopping (none)
water: 2L/2L
extras: green tea and meds!
obviously my cheat day...wasn't too bad though..not to what I could have had..........

Of course regretting the cheat because it always causes a gain but realizing chips aren't that big of a deal.

dinner: chicken stir fry ~ chicken, sprouts, gr. pepper, carrots, cauliflower, gr. beans, mushrooms on a bed of brown rice
snack: missed
supper: 3 small slices of toupie ham, cpl baby carrots
snack: sm. bowl of popcorn, realized I didn't need it and switched to jello
exercise: went to work w. dh so haven't done anything yet/ treadmill 1hr
water:2L /2L
extras: green tea and meds
the sinus cold is finally feeling better/having bad headaches though

2 days to go til my first weigh in with our biggest loser competition.
I'm showing a loss but was up a bit since I started here, so sad but happy day.
Still signs of a head cold but it's going, stupid headaches are still around though.
Wanna crawl back in bed but gotta get some exercise in...2 days to go!

haven't been of for a few days, gott a little busy around here.
Did good on my first week doing the challenge..out of the 8 that weighed in (there are 22of us) I had the biggest % weightloss...down 9.6lbs in one week.
So, of course had a cheat on the Sunday that I now regret but back on the horse it is!!
Gotta keep my lead! Hard no knowing how the other 14 did.

breakfast: 3 boiled egg whites
snack: shake (protein, strawberries, blueberry juice, 1/2 banana)
dinner: homemade soup
snack:..can't remember, maybe raspberries
supper: spinach salad, spicy chicken
snack: cheese and crackers (6) and some yogurt w. granola
water:2L /2L
exercise: treadmill 1hr/t-zone
extras: green tea :)
Going to get our tree today, so a little fresh air will feel good, it's sooooo cold out though.

Not sure why the scale isn't moving any..down 0.2 in 2 days..I was hoping for a half decent week...guess I'll just keep at it.

No exercise this morning, have to go into work but that's o.k. because cardio class is tonight and I generally don't exercise in the a.m. anyway...I was going to...for a little extra boost but...ah well

Well, 2 weeks in out of 12 for our biggest loser challenge. Haven't been on much, been super busy here, with all the activities going on in school, Christmas shopping and work.
I lost 9.6lbs the first week and 3.8lbs the second week for a total of 13.4lbs. Quite proud of that.....but have been having a bad two days this week..eating not right one but also feeling down in the dumps...realizing how far I still have to go discourages me and I have been under sooooooo much stress, I'm easily agitated all the time...

Hoping to go back on track full force tomorrow...got some extra pounds to get back on I'd imagine now..:(
 
So much for full force...my treadmill is acting up, it hitches and makes it hard to walk on.
Ended up taking Mom to an eye appt. so my day doing anything was shot..did get in 20 min. on the treadmill and 25 on the bike but we ate out (ate salad and chicken) but had some macaroons....up 1.5lbs and it's not looking good. :(
