Well last night I did my cardio! It doesn't seem like much, but I'm so proud that I was actually working out at home! Usually when I can't get to the gym, I think to myself, Ok then, I'll just work out at home, but I NEVER do. In fact, even yesterday I had a feeling it was going to be the same thing. But I stuck with it and got 40 minutes of cardio in (I was interrupted and had to stop before I could get the last 20 minutes). It was a good workout though because the DVD is supposed to be more intense than the others because it's done in 30 minutes. I did it 1.5 times, so I probably burned quite a bit. Heck, I even had to use my inhalor!

Food was great too yesterday, didn't go over my calories at all which is surprising since I was trying to stay between 1200-1300 yesterday. I have hope for today!

I'm down 3.2 pounds this week. I can't be entirely sure since I did weigh myself yesterday and got two different numbers. I weighed myself as soon as I got out of bed this morning, so hopefully the scale is right!

3.2 POUNDS! I'm so proud of you! :) SOO EXCITING to see the numbers drop! Good job going the cardio at home too. So much discipline! :) :)
 
omg yay we doo have the same amount of weight to lose! we should keep each other accountable. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! :)

also, our team is totally going to winn. YEAH YEAH EYAHHHHHH
 
Another great eating day! Who knew I could actually eat under 1300 cals a day?! I didn't! Anyway, my eating was great today, but I couldn't get in a workout. Oh well, I'm not beating myself up for it. BUT I can't wait to go to the gym tomorrow :D
 
So I'm wathcing the Biggest Loser right now and it's SO SAD. The two people that need to be there the most are up for elimination! I'm such a baby, last week I watched the beginning of the first episode at the gym while on the elliptical and I started tearing up.

So far this week I'm doing great! My target calories for yesterday were 1500 and I only consumed 1250 :D I never thought I could even eat as "little" as 1500 calories a day, let alone 1250! I've also got in two great workouts this week :D I'm aiming to lose at LEAST another 3 pounds this week, that would be so amazing.

No workout for me today, took a rest day. My little work out plan tells me to take a rest day Wednesday and Saturday, but I kind of have to modify it so I have a rest day Friday instead of Saturday. This week I wanted to actually take a rest day and make it a pure cardio day, so I could rest my muscles and still get in a good workout. I was hoping that day would be a Wednesday, but oh well. I could try it Friday and see how that goes.

I have no idea how I did in the food area today. I bought a regular wildberry fruit chiller with non-fat yogurt and had a small hot chocolate, so there go a bunch of liquid calories.

FOOD INTAKE (1/14/09)

Breakfast: English muffin w/ 1.5 tbl whipped butter, 1 slice American cheese
Lunch: Cheesy garlic bread
Snack: Regular Wildberry fruit chiller w/ non-fat yogurt from Gloria Jean's, 2 lowfat cheese sticks
Dinner: Small hot chocolate, 2 English muffin pizzas, 4 bacon small bacon strips, one bite of pancakes (I wanted them so bad, but I knew I couldn't eat them without blowing my calories, so I only had a bite :p)
TOTAL: around 1800

Grr, 400 of my calories came from drinks! Ah, I hate it! But, the fruit chiller had less calories than I thought (around 200) which isn't too bad cause it was pretty big. I guess my calories balance each other out because Monday I had 1250 and today I had 1800 .. so it kind equals out to 1500? Hm, I don't know what to put for points because I usually do it as aiming for 10500 calories a week .. soo yeah haha.

I totally teared up too! The first episode, I just started to cry sometimes just looking at the contestants. It just makes me so sad.

Last night, I cried at some parts.. but at some parts I was like WTF!!!1 Like when the guy goes home and hten I see him eating a hot dog and fries? and he's like "YEAHH i got this. im gona lose weight." I WAS LIKE UMM DUDE. first of all.. youre on tv.. you DO realize ppl will see u eating that hot dog right? and 2nd of all.. when does a hot dog adn french fry = weight loss? Oh NEVER! DROP THAT SHIT. :) but yeah i love the show! im rooting for blaine and dane! theyr going to be hot when they lose the weight. haha.

OMG haha no the person eating hte hot dog was either david or daniel --wichever one got sent home. i cant really tell them apart haha. but yeahh he was totally eating that hot dog adn french fry. naughtyy! haha.

omg good job at the gym today though! :) i think youll be amazing at your next weigh in. just fighttt the urge to eat tomorrow! im going out to dinner @ chilis with a friend tmrw and i already have to plan out waht im gona order bc i dont wana screw up my workotu just from 1 day fo eating badly. u know u can always bring a water bottle and a snack in ur purse! :) itll save u MONEY and calories! GOOD LUCk. BEEE STRONGGGGG!!!!
 
The old guy got sent home though! Aw, now I'm very disappointed in my team ): haha. What do you plan on having at Chili's? That's one of my favorites restaurants and I'm always so bad about eating things there ..
 
there's actually a lot of things that arent TOO high in calorie. whenever i know im going to go eat out, i'll eat less the rest of the day. tmrw im just going to eat like some fruits durign the day so i can have more calories for dinner.

im going to get the QUESADILLA EXPLOSION SALAD! it's a salad with 4 quesadilla slices on the side. i think online ti says its about 900 calories. however, if u dont eat the 4 pieces of quesadilla, im sure that number would probably drop to liek 700 or something less since the FLOUR TORTILLA + CHEESE = a million calories. so yeah, i always order it and give allthe quesadilla pieces to my friends to eat. also, restaurant portions are pretty big. i try to only eat half of whatever the food is and take the otehr half home for later or hte next day. :) that salad is SOO GOOD though. if u get it, ask for dressing on teh side to save calories as well. definitelyy try it!

my friend who is on weight watchers, orders the guitless chicken sandwich or something with black beans and she swears its AMAZING!! :) i think theres a site called thedailycaloriecount or somethinggg liek that, itll tell u teh calories in restaurnt foods ;] cehck it out. or google it or something.. ahah also omg sorry for all teh typos-- im trying to type this up quickly anddd my spelllign is going to have to suffer. :) have fun tmrwww. dont eat too much! :) :)

Ok, so I was looking in the mirror tonight and I felt really awful. It looked like my stomach was bigger, or at least the same as always and my arms looked huge. I shouldn't say "look" they ARE huge. You know that annoying flab underneath? Yeah, I love that. It makes me look 20 pounds heavier than I really am! This sucks, because I'm getting all dressed up in a sleeveless dress Sunday, and now I'm so self-concious.

It just feels like my weight loss attempts are all for nothing because I'm not literally seeing any results! Screw the scale I just want to lose inches! I've even been really good with my food and exercise this week .. oh well, I guess we'll see Sunday.

Thanks JZ, but unfortunately, I don't think I'm doing so well ..

So last night I got on the scale before bed and it said 173.2. I figured, and was hoping, that that was just cause it was the end of the day and what not. So I went to bed and when I woke up in the morning, I weighed myself again. And guess what? It STILL said 173.2! I chceked my weight on another scale and it said that I didn't lose anything at all. So I'm wondering, what teh f*** happened?! My eating was pretty good, I've already worked out 6 hours this weel (counting Monday, so regular week) and I managed to GAIN 2 pounds?! Or, at the least, didn't lose anything. I'm SOOOO frustrated! I don't know what happened and I'm so pissed becuase I've been working my butt off for what? NOTHING. I've never been so discouraged.
 
Hang in there, YOU can do this :) your measurements may have changes, you may have gained muscle or you may just see a big drop next week.
 
heyy! don't be discouraged! it happens to me sometimes when i weigh myself..or it goes up. :( mm weird but -- have u tried going to the restroom already? that can make a little difference.

as long as YOU know you did your best to work exercise and eat this week, you shouldn't feel down on yourself. you attempted what you could and the rest is up to your body. if u dont end up dropping anything this week, im sure your body will spazz the next week and drop off the weight equivalent of a baby elephant! :)
