Time to take back the pound. I mean, get rid of it. LOL! I went to a friend's wedding this weekend. Good Mennonite women cooking chicken, perogies, meatballs, buns, etc. I'm at 139 today.:eek2:

However, I have booked my sitter for 3 evenings this week, and printed out the list of things to do that Steve wrote out for beginner weight training. I'm very excited to start!!
 
It feels awesome for me, but I feel badly for them. I know my sister is really struggling, but doesn't know how to make herself do it. Our friend Cara (the other one in the pic) has just joined TOPS 2 weeks ago, so I hope things will progress for her.

HI DQ! I know what you mean about your sister really struggling. I am that sister, the one who struggles. My twin sister is on the forum now, supporting me. We are going to do this journey together. I've always been the fat one out of the two of us. Is your sis on the forum? Perhaps it would help give her some motivation, like it does for us? But I know the journey is so very personal a matter for the individual. It takes getting to the point where they want to make the step in the other direction.

Meanwhile, you are doing so great!!! Keep it up.

What it TOPS? Good luck to your girlfriend!!

That was just the one day, honest. And it ended up being about 1150. Don't worry, I'm definitely making up for it today. :rolleyes: :rotflmao:

And I'm mad...3 of us got all dressed and ready, pumped to go workout, and the stupid gym is closed AGAIN. :mad:

I'm up almost a lb this week.:mad: I haven't been tracking. It really does make a difference. I'm going to drown myself in water today and tomorrow, and see if that helps for my Thur. night weigh-in.:rotflmao:

I'm going to post a link to another site, a friend of mine took the pics at the wedding I went to. I did some posing so she could scout out location, lighting, etc.

ETA: took out the link because all of a sudden it was a picture of a card instead of me. LOL!

Your doing really good!! you'll lose that pound by your next weight in, I know it! I'm also happy to see that your eating more than 900 calories, YIKES that's super low, and I couldn't live off that much that's for sure! hEHEHHEHE I didn't see those pics, are they on your blog?

I feel awesome! After a horrible week, I took action to try to counter it. I finally made it to the gym!!! After almost 6 months, we finally got in there. I did a bit of weight training (Thank you Steve!!), 5 min. on the bike to warm up, then 15 on the treadmill (half jogging). It felt soooo good. :)

It worked! The weights, and drinking more water due to exercise, have put me back at 138.4 :cool: Love seeing that number. I also got to do aerobics this morning. It was just a one-time thing, as my friend's mom was visiting and agreed to do a class for us. No instructors living in town, unfortunately. It was a lot of fun!

Great job on working out the balance! Thats great that your sticking in the 130's, and it's working so well for you! Keep up that great work! :rotflmao:
