Sometimes I think we try to overlook how difficult losing the weight is. In some ways that's good because it keeps us determined and looking at our goal. However, its just a fact that some people on the journey with us will fall off. I think you're right, you need to find the inner strength to see you through. On the bright side those friends that have fallen off will probably want to start up again soon. You can do this Dari.
 
how are those specific and atainable goals for today going? My specific and attainable goal for today is to not eat any processed sugars. I've done well, but its not even 11am here yet. Keep it up, you look fab in those beach pics!
 
K, everyone, I need a big kick in the @ss. Things have slacked for me. I'm not sure if there's a specific reason, or a number of small things, or what.

My friends here seem to have all given up. All except one, and this one has found a new friend/walking partner. So I'm back to doing this all alone, and it's hard. I haven't been posting on here as much, or keeping up with the other diaries, and I think that is affecting my motivation as well.

These are not excuses...the only motivation I have must come from inside me, not from other sources. I just need that kick to get me looking inward for it again. I could have very well been at my goal weight right now, and working on toning up for my bikini, but I'm not. And it's my own fault.

Specific attainable goal for tomorrow...drink my water, and cut back to 2 cans of diet pepsi.

OH your pics are so cute!! You look great!!! and so young~ Your kids are just the sweetest ever!! Very, very nice family Queen! I hope your drinking lots of water today and most important, NOT DRINKING DIET DRINKS, Not today, put them to the back of the fridge and grab some water girl. RIGHT NOW!! hehehe, I'm not very good at this bossy stuff. HAHAHA I hope your day is better!! Keep on posting we need ya here too!

Day is going good so far. I was on my feet for 6.5 hours at work, then went for a walk. Food is going alright. Have had half my water so far, and 2 cans of pop. Thank you for the reminder Kim, I'm going to get a full water bottle right NOW!

Well, the day is over, and it ended well! Got another short walk in with a friend, was invited over for dinner (fresh-caught pickeral and rice), got in 7 glasses of water, and only had 3 cans of pop (better than my usual 5 or 6). :beerchug:
 
Hey DQ I just saw your pics and they're great. You look super relaxed and your boy is so cute, adorable, not to leave out your daughter. I think its just great that you're not resting on your laurels but working hard to get down to 130. You look really in shape now. Good on you. You have encouraged me to keep trying. Thanks for stopping by the other day.
 
I know, it got bad since Christmas. I was doing so good, just treating myself to a half cup of pepsi every day, and since I switched to diet, it's like giving myself permission to drink as much as I want. I am doing WAY better with water though, I think I've got about 8 cups in for the last 4 days.

TOPS weigh-in tonight; was .25 lb up. Which, considering I gained 1.5 lbs over the weekend, wasn't bad. I did really well the last 4 days and lost most of it again. There's nothing going on this weekend, so I'm going to remain focused. I'll keep myself busy, and everytime I get the munchies, I'm going to take the kids outside, away from the snacks.

Sounds like a great plan girlie and I know you werent incinuating anythign in my diary Dari - I know you are helping me and such...I just didnt want you tthinking I thought so :):):)
