I love the fake tanning lotion!!! It rocks.

Not sure if you've tried it before, but a tip for application to avoid dark patches on your feet, knees, elbows, hands, and face...

After a shower, put regular lotion on your hands to keep them from soaking up too much tanning lotion.

Mix half tanning lotion with half regular lotion together in your hands and apply to the above areas first. Then hit the rest of the body with the tanning lotion.

Wash your hands really good afterwards to take off extra lotion.

There's nothing worse than dark orange patches on your hands and feet.

mmmm jelly beans ... *slap* .. sorry distraction

Good advice Miss JB, thats exactly what i do
I just hate getting those orange fake tans rather than a realistic brown one. The Pitz Buin one is the best over here - dunno if you can get it over your way

I think this stuff I got will be ok; my friend used it and it's very natural looking. It's also mainly a moisterizer...the tanning part is minimal. :)

Weigh in tonight. I'm a little nervous, because it's been a bad week or so. Abba has had 6 birthday parties over the last 10 days, and I was at 4 of them. Plus leftover cake from hers. I'm a little ashamed.

Birthday cake is evil. Let's just leave it at that.

I'm determined to have a good week. I'm planning my meals for the week; counting calories again, etc. Gotta get out walking, even if I have to drag the kids along. I only have one more week until I go back to work, so I'd like to get this horrible pound off that I gained this week.

There's a blizzard outside. This sucks. It snowed all night, and still coming down hard.

:eek2: Really...wow - in the news they wear saying that calgary had to use snow brushes yesturday morning...LOL...that is just crazzzy

Randy, where do you suggest I go? How many towns and cities are there in Canada? I can't just randomly pick one.

Come out this way...heh heh hehe:jump: We rarely get snow this past winter was unusual for us...

Yes cake sure is evil - I still love it - YUM! Work in a week how are you feelign abt that ??? Are you giong back to daycare ???

I'm dreading the work. Yes, I'm going back to the daycare. I love the kids, for sure. It's just that it's so crazy busy now, everyday. Not a chance for any one-on-one time with any of the kids, including my own. I'm going part-time for now, to see how it goes.

Howdy Dari,
I love doing daycare from my home,I am not sure what to do when school starts back up because 2 of 3 I have been babysitting go all day school,so I guess I will be spreading the word around again atleast until my little 1 starts school, then I may do something different lol I need a change.
The 1lb will be gone in no time Dari,I had b-day cake for 2 weeks lol 1st mothers day then when that ran out it was my girls b-day and there was 1 huge cake and several cupcakes and brownie and the homemade kind which are the BEST!
But no more for a while I will be swimming memorial day with my kids and staying away from the foods everyone brings and 80% will be deserts!:eek2:

Have a great weekend ,stay strong and the hectic day's will slack off soon!!By the way BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH to the blizzard I so don't miss that crap! Tammy

Thanks for stopping in Tammy!

VENT:

The ex is a pain in my butt. Well, anyone who read the first dozen pages of my diary will already know this. LOL! I don't need to post details. Just know that he is an inconsiderate idiot. :rotflmao:

VENT OVER.

Good eating day today, and the sun shone. :beating: :beating: :beating: Got in my walk; hallelujah!

Canada ?? good lord girl. I was thinking anywhere but. Oh, and you can bag Russia too. Canada is pretty much like Russia except you have a government in Canada - I think. I would make it my goal to get out of northern Manitoba but that's just me. **See your vent post if you need additional reasons to leave.

It's tough with kids. :( Hard enough to keep her from getting too disappointed as it is. If I moved too far away she'd never see him.

If I moved to the States, it would have to be near Disney. Either one, I'm not picky. :)

:eek2: The sun is out today...two days in a row!!! I'm so excited, and I already have my sitter booked so I can get my walk in. :)

The ex never showed up last night at all. He was supposed to come at 7 to watch a movie with Abba. Talked to him at 8, and he said he'd be here by 9. So I let her stay up until 9:30, waiting for him. He did that the night before too. Didn't show up until 10:30, then wonders why he can't see her. Duh.

I wonder what it would be like to be with a guy who actually enjoys spending time with me and the kids????

It's tough with kids.

Kids adapt quite well to most anything, it's usually the adults that don't. We've had too much of being 'set in our ways'. Kinda reminds me of all the marriages that stay together 'for the kids' - that's wrong on so many levels.

I'm sure you'll find a man who enjoys you and the kids. The hard sell is being in a town of 1000 'way the hell up there'. I wouldn't live up there even if a mining job paid 200k a year. No offense.

1000 people? Try 800. LOL! Used to be about 1800, until one of the mines closed.

I know the kids will adapt, even Abba. I just don't want her to have to live without her dad. Maybe I'd feel different if I had a male someone around for her to get that 'dad-type' time with, but I don't. He's it.

When did life get so complicated?:rotflmao:

DQ... holy cow, look at your weight loss. gone for a few months and everyone is soooooooo much smaller! Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When did life get so complicated?:rotflmao:

I ask myself this question alot - ha ha ha...

I wish you well returnign to work Dari - i use to work with kids and loved i t but life has changed so much since i had my second daughter that I just cant see myself doing it now...

Sometimes I have to wonder when I read these diaries how such amazing women wound up with such duds for husbands. You're doing great Dari and you will find somebody worthy of you, I'm sure of it.

Aw, thanks Cannon. That's sweet. :hug2:

Cerella, I don't know how I'm going to do it. When I first started at the daycare, back when I was coming off maternity leave with Abba, she was a year old, and there were hardly any kids at the daycare. I got plenty of time with her. Now I won't be able to. And it's not like they'll be away, I'll actually have to watch them being looked after by others. I think it'll be too hard.

I did have a job offer for cleaning the same couple owns a motel here, and a boarding house-type of place, and needs someone there to clean rooms and stuff. If the daycare doesn't work, I can always give that a try.

*prays for a single nice guy who loves kids to have his car break down right by DQ's house* :D

and they live happily ever after....

I actually have to agree here. Kids adapt soo much easier to things that we think they will. Things will work out Dari!

Thanks for stopping by my other diary yesterday btw....your post was very true.

If I don't hear from you again soon, I hope you have a great holiday weekend!
