K, I have a question. Please help!

I met someone not that long ago, nice guy, shy, etc. He lives in the next town over and comes to visit here once in a while. Assuming I get the courage to get his e-mail address, what should I say? He's the one I was attempting to flirt with on my birthday. I am too shy to phone him, have no idea if he might be interested in me, but I'd like to at least say hello and see if he answers.

Any thoughts? I get so nervous I can barely put 2 words together.

Let me know when u decide what to do. Can't help u here. I am figuring out the same thing about the golf instructor next door! :p

Just a silly suggestion but.... maybe if you get the addy, wait a couple of days after and write.

Then say, something along the lines of..... just wanted to say hello and see how your weeks going.
Then maybe throw in, I liked the shirt you were wearing the other day.
Looking foward to hearing from you soon.

That way you a line in that shows some intrest in him?

Good Luck

I got an hour long walk in yesterday, plus some time walking/jogging alongside Abba while she attempts her two-wheeler. LOL! Have to take the day off today because my new sandals gave me a sore from rubbing on the bone. Plus it's raining off and on.

So I'm going to catch up on laundry, do some scrapbooking, etc. I love these kinds of days. :)

I did have a job offer for cleaning the same couple owns a motel here, and a boarding house-type of place, and needs someone there to clean rooms and stuff. If the daycare doesn't work, I can always give that a try.

You might like the cleaning I quite enjoy it - I use to do the kid thing to and and single as well and the cleaning works for me...

Kaylea my oldest use to come to day care with me as well when I worked in day care...and when I managed a before and after school care program she use to come and my step son as well but it wwas hard iwth my step son...

aaawww Im sorry you hurt your foot walking a day off or relaxing is never bad...

I think all guys like to have a woman express interest in him. If its not pressuring and leaves the ball in his court its even better. I think in that remote an area I think it'd be very appreciated.

sexy bloke

Hiya Dariqueen, just had a little giggle to myself..went onto your blog site..WOW..I like the eye candy (Jon)..who is he?..it definately cheered my day up anyway..lol.. wat more motivation do u need than looking at him..lol. Your children are beautifull too...I love the pic of your baby with the big glittery sun glasses on..so cute! Didnt see many picturse of you though chick..are you still doing weight watchers?

Well, that guy is now seeing someone since I met him, so I guess he wasn't remotely interested. Which is really depressing. The only guy who's even looked at me in the last 8 months is my ex, and that's not what I want. I can live with not finding Mr. Right right away, that's ok. But I keep hearing about how much fun the single life is, and it would be nice to try it. It would just be nice to meet a couple of Mr. Wrongs once in a while.

Hi Mandie! Thanks for the compliments...I think my kids are adorable too. :rotflmao: I'm not doing WW anymore, just counting calories; but I do check out their message board from time to time. :)

Oh, Randy...if only we weren't so far apart...:)

Got out for my walk today...just a short one, as it didn't get above 0 C here.

Where exactly is North Manitoba DQ? I guess I could have googled it! hehe.
Hey have you ever tried one of the online dating meet people things that they advertise on TV. I am married so wouldnt be able to check it out, but the people on TV look happy. I hope your dating life gets swinging soon :)

you are doing fantastic with your weight loss! Keep up the great work!!!

Find Montana...Manitoba is the province to the north of the right hand side. About a 2 or 3 hour drive north of the border is Winnipeg, our capital city. I live another 8 hours north of that.

Anyone want to come for a visit??? :rotflmao:

What's your diary doing all the way back in page 5??!?! I had a hard time looking...:p

i dun mind visiting if u fetch me frm airport. lol. I just asked my canadian colleague about your area and she said yea.... it's pretty much cold up where u stay hahaha. and yes you pretty know much about everybody in town! (she was a teacher back in canada). who knows maybe next year I'll be in canada with her when she goes on furlough and pop over for visit heheh:D

I am a big enough sports fan to know Winnipeg. I have in the past followed the Jets and Blue Bombers, but I have to say that's remote. Do you like parts of being that isolated? Have you always lived there?

When I go for my walk tomorrow, I'll take some pictures. Then you'll understand one of the two big reasons I'm still here. :) And it was gorgeous out today! Sunny, hot, light breeze to keep the bugs away. Perfection.

Sorry to hear about your man situation...things will get better. Im sure Mr. Right is out there soewhere waiting 4 u. Your kids are lovely. Keep your chin up chick xxx

Down 1.25 from last week! Official TOPS weigh in, of course. Hard to tell, weighing in the evening, wearing clothes. :rotflmao: According to the scale this morning, I lost 2 lbs. Where's the happy dance smilie?

Oh, and Cannon, you're other question...I was born and raised here. I spent 4 fall/winters away at college, then 2.5 years in Ontario (loved it). The other almost 30 years was spent here. I complain a lot, but I have family here. If it weren't for my sister and my grandma, I would have left ages ago.
