I love 'listening' to her talk in her diary, because it's not stuff that you would hear her say if you were hanging out having lunch or a drink... :) You rock, sis!!

I'd say stuff like that more if I wasn't afraid of making everyone hate me. LOL! :D It's just...now that I'm at this point (finally, after 15 years), I want everyone else to be too.

So what you are saying is that I CAN recover from those 2 cookies I had tonight as long as I don't keep backsliding from here??? Hmmm, interesting theory.:rolleyes: :eek: :D

Thanks for the quote. I will remember it! Tommorow, about 11, when I am reaching over the cookies to get to the apples. Thanks for the inspiration.
 
Dont' worry Shanna, 2 cookies is not a backslide. 2 cookies, plus a pop, plus a bag of M&M's, plus an extra helping of supper when you're not hungry, plus...and so on, is. :)

I find I have to get tough sometimes. I will even swear (in my head) at my junk food. I go to reach for my treats automatically, then I look at what I'm doing, and I say to the junk food, "F*** you". Yes, I really do that. Sometimes you just need to get tough and be the grown-up. :D
 
Hehe, yeah, I do that too! 'Cept I don't keep any in the house, so it's always swearing at myself if I think about going to Ye Olde Shoppe! :)
 
Just entered all my info from yesterday into Fitday. On WW points it doesn't look too bad, but when you actually see the amount of calories? :eek:

Still less than what I burned, so I'm still on track that way.

My goals for today are to:

Drink my water (I've been slacking a little).
Get my 30 minutes of exercise in.
Keep below 1500 calories today, somehow.

HAHAHA..your so cute and funny, I will remeber that next tiem I am eatign somethign I shouldnt or cant fit into my calories for the day...

Being a child is so much more fun than being a grown up especially when you can be a child with your children;) ;) ;)
 
oh yeah i curse a my junk food too......flippin chips, screw you..........ect., i also curse at my scale........my clothes........my computer......my car.....you getthe pic.!!!!

Off to a great start...had 4 of my 10 glasses of water already, and a healthy breakfast and lunch!

WooHoo me too, I drank 36 ozs of water and burnt 765 cals on the Elliptical so I am doing goodso far also...somethign abt your diary must have worn off on me...
 
Ok, I'm confused. How are you supposed to burn more calories than you take in? Is the bottom of the calorie range (like mine is 1310-1660), the minimum number needed to live day to day? So if I do any exercise at all, and only ate my 1310, then I've burned more than I consumed? Ugh, why is that so hard to get through my head?

We have yet to see what effect the 30 minutes of her on the treadmill will do to me mentally.... our kids... all together... omg.... ROFL!

Find out what your BMR is (I think that's the term) According to this, based on my height, weight, and activity level, I go through about 2,000 calories day to day, just living, walking around, making dinner, etc. So just by cutting out 500 calories a day, I should lose one pound a week.

Adding exercise increases the amount of calories you burn through. Decreasing calorie in foods even more (say, down to 1200) should, in theory, increase your weight loss.


Clear as mud? LOL!
