Pinky, I still don't know what I want to make...can I just throw them in chili with the brown and kidney beans? I also have a recipe to put them in meatloaf. MMMMMM.....meatloaf.....:D

I'm loving the snow, I hate the wind. I have to drag the kids everywhere I go, and my daughter is still sick. And to top it off, I gave Chelsea my car, so I have her HUGE truck to try and get the carseat in and out of...big pain.:(
 
sorry your having a hard time hun. dont' you just hate it when the kids are sick!

I've been having sick kids also. 2 out of 3 in fact!! I hate it I am drained and I think trying to fight it off! Hang in there. For every low there is a high!!:) :)

guy is still tugging on his ear I am hoping this amoxicillin will knock
out his ear infection, but now he's coughing running nose and he hates
that boogie sucker looks like I am torturing him!

Well, I guess things happen for a reason...my friend who runs the daycare I normally work at just called to say they have an outbreak of lice. Yay. However, because Abba's been sick all week, she hasn't been exposed. :rolleyes: Gotta love how things work.

Wohoo on missing the lice fun! But sorry she's not feeling well.
I have a recipe for black bean soup that taste a lot like chili and there are never any leftovers! If you want it I can send it to ya!

What good luck to not be exposed to it.. I had once a few years ago- from an airplane flight i was on... (talk about gross) the tons of mayo i dumpedon myhead to kill the little critters made my hair really shiney.. but i still get itchy thinking about it.

My 4 nieces and nephews got it abuot 2 years ago.. the boys got teir heads shaved.. :D thegirls- used my mayo treatment...

Lice are disgusting...
 
Hey mate sorry I haven’t dropped in but ive had a busy week. My kids use to ALLWAYS get lice, it used to drive us nuts. Have a terrific day.
 
Pequin, I would love that recipe! Or better yet, post it in the recipe section for ALL to enjoy!

I haven't had to deal with lice yet, thank goodness. I'm sure our time is coming.;)

Man you sure dodged a bullet. I'll never forget having lice when I was 8... My mom picked through my long hair (down to the middle of my back) for almost 5 hours, THEN washed my hair with that nasty lice shampoo to make sure I'd be rid of it. Not even 2 weeks later I got it again. My long hair was HISTORY. Chopped it off to my chin. Guess she didn't want to deal with the tedious hours again!

MMMM... speaking of chili, I might need to get myself some. I love love love Wendy's chili. I haven't had it in awhile, now that I think about it. Maybe I won't cook tonight and I'll just pick up a large chili (330 cals) for dinner :D. Thanks for the idea!!!!
