A Mother's Prayer

Dear Lord,
So far today I've done alright. I haven't gossiped, I haven't lost my temper, I haven't been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish, or very indulgent. I'm very grateful for that. But in a few minutes, Lord, I'm going to get out of bed, and from then on, I'm going to need a lot more help.

some of the secrets are heart wrenching... I really hope that it made the person who was storing that secret feel better...

About Post secret. I know alot of people have benefited from sending in secrets. Alot that have sent them in have later saught councelling for the issues. They have links on the site to a suicide crisis helpline and I think once it went on the site calls to the line went up...way up.
Post secret is like a cult classic. I started reading it about a year and a half or so ago and I'm addicted. I have the book. One of these days I'll get it signed.
I've never sent in a secret, but I'm glad the option to exists. Theres a lot of emotional baggage out there and I see a lot of it in my line of work. Sometimes just making a secret known, even to a stranger, helps more then we would think.

Well DQ, I hope you are not having a sucky evening! LOL Personally I think that secret stuff is so sad. I'm not a good person to unload on. It makes me very upset for that person and I can't seam to get past it! I'm terrible huh?
