I have a pair of blue chords my wife bought me to go with this button down blue stripped shirt that looks boss! I can wear the shirt with khakis...and I can actually fit the pants...but until I loose a little more of my stomach... the two don't look good together so... that's actually one of my goals!
 
I thought I had a pair of my 'I look hot in these' jeans left over from my skinny days... but maybe I did take them all to the second hand store. :( I thought I had kept one just to fit into them one day. I love that shirt!!!

Hey DQ! I'm buying the book today, was gonna get it this weekend but I've decided to buy it in ebook form and keep it on my handheld so that its always with me.

Regarding the pic in your sig, I LOVE IT! That's a hot outfit. I know that it serves as GREAT motivation. I had my target pants hanging up in my bedroom too, it kept me going when I really didn't feel like it. Good for you! I can't wait to see you in it...and 3 bucks! That's a GREAT deal!

Hey Girl! I not only buy myself clothes for motivation, but try them on , on a regular basis. I recently got into some different clothes I had bought, plus my X-mas skirt!! So way to go!!
 
Those pants are a wonderful idea!! I have a pair of pants that I would love to fit in... I definitely need to keep them in perspective because now they're just hanging in my closet out of visual range.

I've seriously been considering selling stuff on ebay. I can't get a second job because it would defeat my purpose...any money I'd make would go to whoever was keeping my daughter while I was working, so that's pointless.

Any other ideas would be great though.
 
Cool outfit! I like it!! I wear a size 10 now. You know I have never shopped in a second hand store...I think I will gander into one this weekend and see what I can find!!

Extra money...... Babysitting? Do you sew.. you could repair clothing, etc? You could be an Avon lady? Ummmmm... What OHD said... Sell stuff on Ebay? OH OH... Snow shoveling!!! HEHE Great exersice!!!
 
dari can you deliver newspapers? It's sucky hours and I don't really know how much money you'd make but it's something you can do with your munchkins in tow.

Delivering papers is a really crap job for the pay. Its more hassle than its worth.
Trust me all my 4 kids have done it
My 10 year old has bought 100 rings for $35 (35c each) and is selling them for $2.50 each at school. She sells at least 1 or 2 a day so shes making a fair bit for little effort .

Ever thought about selling stuff on your own website? Its not all that hard to setup and do, Just find some bulk suppliers, nudge me into explaining the secrets of website sucess (im what you call a 'guru' on ecommerce sites) and sit back and make some money :)

Newspapers, etc won't work, town's too small. I do have a little scrapbook store, but I don't have enough inventory to compete with other bigger online stores. I wish I could.

I'm going to try and paint again. I'm not that good, but I'll give it a shot. I have two watercolors done from about 5 years ago that I'm going to hang up somewhere in town. They're a good size for a Christmas gift, so I'm crossing my fingers.:)

Kaitie, I was about 600 or so sit-ups short for November...I slacked off the last week or so. Did half of my goal each day:eek: But I'm still doing them!

Christmas bill's piling up and now my stepdad's in bad shape my
mom could lose their house it's a big mess finacially and phtsically!
I have sold 3 lot's of 2-4 jeans sizes 11-14 seem to be hot right
now,lol I hit the 2nd hand store on 1/2 off day bought 2 pair's
of size 11 jeans for $6 for both they were 'ANGEL'S & SO STRETCH
they went for $15.50 + $12 to ship standard flat rate I made $17
not alot but if I had more lot's I may be onto something lol!The bigger
sizes seem to be bid on more.Have a gr8 night Tammy:)

Never ever tell yourself that!! There is one thing about your art that no one else in the world has and thats your unique perspective. Refine your art and make it work for you!!! Man I really need to learn to take my own advice sometimes..lol.
