Oh, I don't like gyms - I can not work out IN a building...I don't even like working out at home.

I don't know WHAT I'm going to do when the rains come!

Hope things picked up for you. I'm with M, I just can't exercise indoors. Drives me mad.. lol. And I kind of like being alone. Gives me time to think and focus. It becomes my meditation sometimes.

Well, a building is my second choice...but as it's almost -30 and windy, I just can't make myself go for a walk. Sooo not worth the windburn and frostbite:D

SaturdaySaint, I've heard of Flylady, I do the 15 min. challenges on another messageboard. Helps a lot. Need one for exercise in the house too though.;)

1. My son's middle name is Wolfgang. Really. I caved and let my ex give him the middle name he wanted. :eek:
2. I'm a sucker for cheesey 80's movies. And I have most of them on VHS. I watch them often. Footloose, Grease 1 and 2, Pretty in Pink, etc.
3. I'm a Trekkie (but I hate that word), I have most of the novels to go with each series too.
4. We had the coolest van growing up...my dad did it up. It played both cassettes and 8 tracks, had blue fuzzy carpet up the sides, and really fuzzy white carpet on the ceiling, a bed in the back, and lawn chairs anchored to the floor behind the driver's seat. I loved that van.
5. I collect Eeyore stuff. :)

OMG it was. I LOVED that van. And did you know that Dad had it registered as a 'motor home' since it had a 'bed' in the back, so that when he and the guys took it to curling bonspiels and such, they could legally drink in it? ROFL! (Kahl's dad told me that story)

hehe, wow you guys dislodged about 82000 old memories when I had a custom van back in '78. I doubt there are too many stories that can be told on a family forum from that era.

If you can imagine it, it happened in that van :) *slinks into a time warp*

Anyway, I just stopped in for a hello and and an update on ya DQ :cool: Hope life is good up yonder.

I have a van, man one day im gonna pimp it out with some pink furry carpet or something. wear my pimp coat and pimp hat ... hmm this sounds like a photo op to me :)

If i remember to ill do that! i'll have to talk a few friends into being the 'hoes' ... New Years party when everyone is drunk sounds like the best time to do this! :D

A trekkie....you , coool, I grew up on Star Treck, but Im not a big fan...

I love eyeroe myself and my car use to be decked out in scooby doo...

Did you like, girls jsut wanna have fun and flash dance those were my all time favs...I like footloose also and only saw grease once...not to looong ago actually...im such a cave woman, i havent seen alot of the so called classics, new or old,

I like that you are sharing more and being more personal Dari, It is great...
 
I'm not sure what's going on, but I weighed in today for the last day of the November challenge, and I seem to have lost 2 lbs since Monday :eek:
 
WAY TO GO... 2 lbs in 3 days..that's awesome!!! Don't question it..your scale might hear you!

/my scale is out to get me...
//have to remember...it's more scared of me than I am of it!
