Full body shots of my progress. I also found a better picture of what i looked like in may of 08. at 420lbs

I know what you mean about the "on" switch. Mine got flipped "on" last May and I also wondered why it took me so long. I think you are doing great so far. Remember though, you have to look at this as a marathon. I like the all out mentality but don't get too down on yourself if you have a bad day, week, or month. I think you can reach 300 but summer time if you were just about perfect with your eating and excercising and possibly 250 by Spring of 2010.

way to go dude! Man am i proud of you. Keep up the good work!!! (Finally found your post)

You remind me of my brother. I'll show him your progress, maybe it will inspire him to start working out. He is around your starting weight approx.

Again, fantastic!

Hey you are doing great man! Just keep on plugging away. Don't worry about losing a little muscle. It is almost impossible not to. Not until about 3 weeks ago did I realize that I actually have lost a little muscle since last August even though I have gained strength. I was hoping I was gaining muscle while losing fat but I have been since learning that might not really be probable. I don't care though. I have lost very little. I think of the 56 lbs I have lost, only 2 or 3 lbs have been muscle. Plus or minus one or two.

Anyway, keep on working hard and the inches will continue to come off.

Wow you have made such awesome progress so far! I cant wait to see more pictures as you continue on your journey. Good luck and keep it up!

when i get to 200 lbs every one here owes me $100 =P

fair deal?

Thank you guys so much for the kind comments and encouragement. It is such a journey to change your body. I feel alive and moving. No more stagnation. I was thinking the other day what a great feeling it has been to be able to run on the treadmill and use the machines at the gym. I road my big yellow beach cruiser the first warm day we had last week here in va beach down at the ocean front. road it for 5 whole miles. I have NEVER done that.

Keep on being the change!
