Cycling Buddies, miles to go for a better you!

Great looking frame, I've been looking on Craigslist but seems they've caught on about the value of older frames and pricing them high. I have a old Rauler frame I plan to make into a singlespeed, I just need to get it stripped and painted. I've never ridden a singlespeed but like the simplicity of no derailleurs. Like my singlespeed friend says, the minimalist bike.

That's what I'm looking for on my commute is minimal equipment. But until I get the funds to build it up I will be commuting on my 1x8 Raleigh. I am all planned to start tomorrow morning in fact. So it will be interesting to see how I do compared to last year. I keep track of milage and speed on a site called bike journal. So I'm kinda excited to compare this year from last year.
