Thanks again, Sam--you're a gem, if I was a gay man I'd totally make you my wife! :beating:

I'd be such a good wife, I swear!!!! lol ;)

I love the idea of a blood red wedding dress, and backless is sexy as HELL! I'm all about the untraditional wedding and doing things that aren't the norm.

-Sam

I think that doing things that aren't the norm is normal for me :D

And if I was gay, I'd want you to be my wife, too! :beating:

You're the bee's knees, Sam!

Just stopping by to say HI!!! **waves** wow, you got a busy diary going on!!

I hope you get to feeling better! and Congrats on your health report!!! thats HUGE!!

Hey Val, how did I know this guy would be back and on your tip. No surprise there haha. They always come back but by then you've realized you can no longer be bothered.

Great job on all the exercise while not feeling so sharp nonetheless. That is some discipline right there woman :D.

Val, you are still too young to be thinking about getting married. Don't write it off just yet, but remember that is WAY in the future. There are some good real world reasons to tie the knot and some good spiritual reasons, too, but I'm not getting itno that now.

I have a friend that became a minister just so that she could officiate a wedding. I think that's one of the coolest things a person can do. We were married by a friend of 20+ years (at that point. Now it's 30+) but he was already a priest, so nothing for him to do but show up.

I am an ordained minister too (thank you, Universal Life Church!), I ended up officiating my brother in law's 2nd marriage. That was a lot of fun.

Phoenix! Yo, what it iz??

What up, chickie? Happy Friday! :willy_nilly:

DUH!!! :banghead:

Spiritual reasons are fabulous IF you have some sort of deep, perceived spiritual connection with somebody. I do not. I may, someday.......

Even though I got married at the tender age of 24, I tell people these days not to get married until they are at least 30.

Hey-thanks for the comment in my diary and tip on meat/chicken! I sent you reps for it. I tried the vegan lifestyle for about 6months-1yr and then slowly started adding meat and dairy back into my life...I don't know why, I guess b/c I lost the drive and forgot the stopped researching and learning about the lifestyle.....hmmmm, am I admitting that I quit yet another thing I started in my life (**sigh** I can hear my mother now, lol). So I do eat chicken now...all organic, free range...95% of everything I eat is organic.

Phoenyx: Ordained minister? WOW! TGIF!!! And 30+ seems reasonable, although I prefer not to go on endlessly about it because a lot of people on here got married younger and I'm not trying to diss their decision in any way!

Lindsey: Word, I was vegan for 3.5 years but then went to HI 3 times and then the South Pacific, and started to eat fish. And then I got in the wine business, where there are lots of fantastic cheeses available  But I didn't like meat or poultry even when I ate it, so I felt no reason to continue eating it. SELF magazine wrote a horrific article for January issue, have you read it? I can scan it and email it as a PDF if you want to give me an email address. Let me know. And organic is the way to go!

JZ--thanks! I am much better, I still haven't reported yesterday:

Yesterday Psycho Michael was way hard on us with his kickboxing drills. I couldn't give it my all, but I gave a lot! And the subsequent Ab Lab was tough as well. In Yoga 2, Delana (who's about to go to Bali and Bangkok on a month vacation) emphasized core work, adding some Pilates to the Yoga, which she normally doesn't do. However, we skipped a few standing poses and I was glad--my legs were wobbly from the kickboxing. I swear, Thursdays are hard on me!!! :ack2:

I ate dinner at Chris's--we had fish sticks and fried shrimp. That is not healthy, but at least we baked it instead of re-frying. *shrugs* I have a salmon salad ready for me for lunch today :Angel_anim:. I ate 2300 calories total, although my needs are probably 2400 for the day--so I didn't actually make my goal to stay within 2100-1700 :angelsad2: No 10 points for me! What got me was 1 beer (that Chris kept offering, the Anchor Steam Christmas special ale that they make once a year) and a few extra shrimps. Sigh!

Today I had an appointment where I tried to get a pap smear, but the docs said I was too early (insurance covers 1 per calender year) and my last one was March. However, I found out my blood pressure was 110/62 this morning. Not bad!

Hey Val, you're just too healthy and fit!! I really don't think eating fish sticks on one occasion will kill you ;)

And I can't believe all the fun going on in here! It's like a freaking party :D

And all the guests are sooooooo cool ;)

Maureen, I'm cringing--my teeth hurt from the sweetness :) Dammit I'm TRYING to cut back on sugar! ;)

Talk about manifestation!! :eek2: My bosses and my favorite sales rep are in the kitchen, tasting wine. I smelled a few bottles, and this one Pinot Noir smelled really really good! :drool5: But I didn't want to pour myself any (I'm allowed) because I'm dieting and I'm already up to 1500 calories right now! So I'm "saving my cals" for dinner :Angel_anim:. Just a minute ago, my fav rep came into my office with a unopened bottle of the SAME wine I'd been eyeing *mind you he was busy and his back was turned to me when I was sniffing the wines* and told me to take it home, they weren't going to broker the winery but it was good and I'd like it :hug2: Awwww! How nice and WOW talk about coincidence OR.......as Alta would say, the Law of Attraction!

You're on team tits!!! Good thing I'm not ... I'd need a zoom lens to take a pic of mine :D

Oh Val, I think I'd have to take up drinking if I worked at a vineyard. I'm sure there are some delicious wines coming out from where you work.

Every red wine I tried in my 20s gave me migraines so I stopped drinking them (other alcoholic beverages tended to do the same thing); I think it's the sulphites ...

Maybe you got the bottle of wine because of good karma ;)
