Yes--until you get to the floor, LOL! In my book by David Swenson, you're supposed to flow on the floor and use "flight" to get down--a tricky move where you go from Downward Dog to Seated Staff pose by jumping all the way through your arms.

Jeans never fit my own butt right. The best fit is Yoga pants, haha! However, I'm too shy to wear stretch pants everywhere--sometimes I have days where I don't want anyone to look at my butt--you know, the tired, PMS-y, grumpy days?

It's extremely difficult, yes. It's especially hard if you have short arms. It's much easier with a Yoga block under each hand! To get from Adho Mukha Svanasana to Dandasana (Downward Dog to Seated Staff)
 
Well, I been diggin up dusty diaries and remembering friendly faces on here and wondering what happened to them. MAN I have communicated with a lot of people!!! There IS life outside of WLF, LOL! Fa sheezey! :hurray:

I'm off early again to go to PZ's, and he's gonna drive us there and we're gonna have dinner and OH it's gonna be a grand old time, I'm so excited! When we check into the hotel I want to curl my hair ;)

My eating is RIGHT ON today and I plan on dancing it up, so wish me luck! HUGS everyone and sorry if I missed anyone :rotflmao:

Its stinking hot over here so when my absolutely fav jeans like yours gave up the ghost i lopped them off with the scissors :D

I love coloured cords though, comfy and look good!

PZ and I danced until 7:30am. I have never heard so much Dubstep in my life. Remind me to wear earplugs next show I go to, I'm fucking DEAF :bigear: I'm totally twisted and YES I must have danced off a thousand calories, LOL! Oh, and PZ and I were on the 8th floor of our hotel and I took the stairs a few times before we went out, so.....yeah got this bunny butt a good workout!

Lots of ill shit went down, the Burning Man community is wacky-tacky! I DID run into and dance with / chat with / hug / shmooze all my DJ friends and trippers from Santa Cruz, and they all seemed genuinely glad to see me. I enjoyed dancing for the DJs and getting a little glance and a side smile while they were busy and I was dancing and yelling Big Ups. I like that. Warm hearted.

PZ and I had a long talk on the way home. I suspect he senses my lack of emotional involvement. I ADORE him but I explained that my last relationship made me think that being a Buddhist monk for the rest of my life is preferential to the trials/tribs/pitfalls of a dramatic, deep relationship. I told him to have patience. We've only known each other for 3 weeks! He's such a sweetheart :hug2:

Well, I need to get my jankity, raggedly, ghetto ass a good meal!!! I want a salmon salad and I think I'll roll downtown and have one at the Cypress Lounge, where there will be another show and the same Usual Suspects there to support the Subwize crew and Matty G. Maureen--WORD! I got stuck on the computer because I discovered my camera had just enough juice for me to upload a video and some pictures :D

I didn't take many pictures because my camera is sort of broken. In darkness, sometimes the shutter isn't up to speed with the flash and the picture is completely dark. Other times, it works. I just brought my camera on a whim, thank GAWD, I totally forgot to borrow Chris's. I just want to share with you the VIP view of the main floor. There were 5 dancefloors in that building. I spent a lot of time hopping from one to the other. The second picture is a guy who was obviously thizzin'--thank GOODNESS I don't mess with that junk! HAHA--I watched him sit down on the dancefloor and get a back rub from ONE of his buddies and a glowstick show from another buddy. The cool thing about this crowd is the complete lack of homophobia, which is refreshing and endearing. That, and uh, the complete lack of inhibitions in general! :party:

Here is a 5 and a half minute clip of what a REAL Dubstep party is like :hat: I was on a balcony looking down at the main floor--the red area with the lights coming out of it is the DJ station. At the moment, I do not know who is spinning but I'll find out. Um, it doesn't get really impressive until the transition at 1:48, when the beat drops and this CRAZY light show comes on--makes it look like different colored balls are floating up and down from the ceiling onto the heads of the crowd, but it's just a trick of the lights. Excellent light show. At 2:20, they light up the whole room all bright to the beat drops and it's pretty fucking dope. At 2:26 you can hear my "Yeeeeaaahh!" of appreciation, heh heh. I also like the transition at 4:00--classic Dubstep styly. And at 4:44 Lil' Wayne gets mixed in--I really love that song!
