I have never been to Burning Man but have seen photos and heard stories. It sounds fantastic. Have fun!! If I make it out to it I'll come find you gals.

Funny story--one of our wine sales reps goes every year. She and her boyfriend went last year, and after they came back he decided he was too chubby (maybe the hot people there made him feel that way I dunno). She told me he decided to ON HIS OWN go on a diet and lose some chub--she said he was so cute because he'd tell her, "Well today I had a salad for lunch...." I kept my mouth shut about the forum. I don't mention it to people in my life. It's my "porn" I guess :eek:

A couple photographer friends of mine were trying to convince me to go to Burning Man with them when we were in Las Vegas a couple months ago. If I can swing it financially and vacation-wise, I may have to go have some fun in the desert.
 
Burning Man sounds like a terrific time. I've got friends who go whenever possible. Might be one of those future goals. Definitely looks like an uninhibited good time.

Funny story about showing up in pictures online:

A friend of mine went to the Dominican for a vacation. One night she was at the bar with her friends and they were taking pictures and shit. She saw a chick hitting up on the bartender and took a photo for shits n giggles then went on about her vacation.

She posted her Dominican photos to Facebook when she got home. Well, it turns out that the girl hitting on the bartender was ANOTHER friend of mine! What are the odds of that?! She didn't believe me until I downloaded the picture and sent it to her as proof haha... it's small world.

Makes you wonder how many other pictures you're in without really knowing about it, eh?

Too funny. I only mention this forum to a few people I guess. No one really seems that interested I guess, lol... It's good because my diary is like my diary, and not that anyone would be hurt by anything I write on here I don't think...

Well, my friends in meatspace don't think I need to lose weight, and most of them aren't as interested in fitness as I am, not even by a long shot. They also would be totally bored if I SPOKE all the crap I post here, to them, because they're not "into" the scene of sharing and caring and posting progress and all that....unless they are closet forum posters themselves! :rotflmao: In addition, very few of them have a desk job.

Yeah, I feel ya. You on here are objective observers. Some things I can say here freely and wouldn't mention in meatspace, for example, my description of how much happier I am with my naked reflection. No one would want to hear THAT but it's appropriate to the forum because we all want to be happy with our naked reflection :) And of course there are things I'd mention to friends that I wouldn't mention on here, too personal, yadada I mean?
