Have I ever told you about the grandma pie that they make here? :drool5: There is a wood fired prick oven pizza place about a mile from my front door. The grandma pie is a thin crust square pie with the sauce is really roasted crushed tomatoes. :drool5: Fresh real mozzarella. :drool5: Garlic, garlic, and more garlic. :drool5: Wonderful aromatic olive oil. The crust is like a giant flat olive oil and garlic bread. :drool5: When I say I could eat a whole one, it isn't an exaggeration. I eat piece after piece till there really isn't any left. :svengo:

OMG!!!!!!!!!! I................LOVE.............GARLIC :drooling:

Who doesn't? Vampires!

LOL!!!! "Wood-Fired Prick!!!! BEST Type o I have ever seen!!!! If I'm ever in a rage, mad at some asshole, I'm gonna call him a "Wood-Fired Prick!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!

OMG!!!!!!!!!! I................LOVE.............GARLIC :drooling:

You'd love what I made for lunch, then. I made some more hummus, but I roasted a whole clove of garlic and added it in. Stunk up the lunch room, but I don't care. Mixed it in with some mixed grains and ate the whole thing up. Pretty damn good.

you know, that grandma pie could use stinkier cheeses to tempt me. Like, if it had feta and basil I would about orgasm on the spot....wait that's an exaggeration.....

I made a real good basil and feta focaccia bread. Damn that was good. I was talking to a coworker today about how I'm not making bread anymore. Just too damn fattening. When I get down to maintenance I might, but I always end up eating the whole thing.

Karl: hahaha, now I know what Mrs. Airman was talking about! :D

Trops: I'm with you, WHY the fuck is bread so damn high in calories for its mass???? Pisses me off that our bodies have evolved to be attracted to that to make us live in times of famine. I read a whole long article about the gluten free diet and I have been buying rice crackers (that are damn good, I might add) and my HuuRaw crackerasscrackers (expensive, but raw, soaked, sprouted, ya get the point) to eat with my Raw Cheddar cheese (enzymnes enzymes!) No wonder I ain't got no money!!!!

Yup, the good stuff is so damn expensive sometimes.

I missed which reference you meant. would it have been the one about me bing a bad influence?:coolgleamA:

Totally--I have a crush on a farmer, actually. He's rather "short" IMO (my height) but he has an incredible ass :drooling: and he's sweet and nice. But he'd never go for me!

I don't think that was what Trops meant by "looking into" the local farmers:biggrinjester: Hmm... F/B... farm buddy?

a gluten free diet is not easy to live with, it is amazing how many foods have gluten in them, and it makes it hard getting enough fibre. I soooo crave bread sometimes and knowing that if i give in I will feel like crap for days.

Its sad. I was looking at our grocery receipt and the cost of our fruits and veggies were so high! You can get a box of mac and cheese for less than 50 cents but an apple will cost just as much...no wonder people are fat. Most cannot afford to eat healthy.

OMG, I have a DEBILITATING crush....

on Aleksander Emilianenko! :drool5:

My god, it's awful. I haven't had a celebrity crush in YEARS. I feel like a stupid teenager :willy_nilly: What the hell???? I was daydreaming about him all day at work! :willy_nilly:

I watched him LOSE to Josh Barnett in the PRIDE Total Elimination Absolute, but that didn't make me love him any less :beating: :drool5: :willy_nilly: Besides, Josh is American :hat: and his record is 26-5-0 as of July 2008 and he's currently ranked 3rd in the heavyweight division, so that's fine that he won. :hurray: Still, it hurt a little to see Alexsander lose :(

Anyway, I'm off to San Jose to hang out with my buddies before the race. I have a costume party to go to, but I'm going to crash early. I started my period today! This is good, according to my running book, women run best at this stage in their cycle, versus the luteal (days 20-28) stage. Okeydoke!

13 MILES TOMORROW!!!
