I should hope not. Well, at long as you are drinking their stock. If you were to bring in a bottle of the competition, then you might have a problem.

Are you going out celebrating after work?

Congrats on your placement my dear ;) Your such a little hardass! Sounds like you've had an excellent weekend! Mine was decent too. I'm officially not sick anymore, lol, so now you don't have to hear me bitch about it in my diary this week, lol :hurray:

Thanks, friends!

Trops: Saturday I went to a high end wine bar with Chris for dinner, his treat. He unfortunately went into a near diabetic coma :( with his blood sugar dropping to 35 . The stress from running so hard, then standing on concrete for 6 hours (had to work an extra hour because my boss was pressing Pinot Noir), then sitting in a restaurant with my "date" covered and sweat and passed out on the table drove me to go home early and do yoga, and go to sleep. Tatiana helped me with some poses and Taoist stress-relieving exercises.

Saturday night I didn't sleep well. I think my body was repairing torn muscle fiber and it kept me up and tossing and turning. I'm going to ask Steve if that's normal.

Sunday was a GREAT DAY. I went to belly dancing class in the am (I still suck, I'm struggling, I really need to practice), then in the afternoon Chris was doing much better and we went to the range and fired our rifles, and I shot my M1 for the first time (usually I just shoot my Remmy .30-6) :D Then we went to the Cypress lounge and watched a professional belly dancing show with a delicious dinner. My teacher also performed. Here's a 1 minute clip of her at some performance with her zills magic!

Tyly-- I can't believe you read all my diary!! you crazy, woman!!!:willy_nilly:

Thanks everyone! Glad you're not sick anymore Sam, thanks for visiting Shaun :)

You go, you party animal!

Chris's health is getting worse

Yoga was the only thing I could think of. I couldn't even bring myself to feel self pity, drink myself into oblivion, or call a friend for help. I went to my mat for refuge.

Thank you! My body is fine now, I slept like a rock last night :D

I'm off kilter today. I didn't do yoga this morning, in fact, I could barely get out of bed even though I slept for 8 and a half hours last night. I can't make it to Yoga class tonight, either. I overate last night, even though the food was delicious and healthy and I didn't have dessert or much sweets. I drank beer yesterday, to celebrate my race but yeah, it really makes me feel heavy and I'm considering a wheat-free diet. I have too many books I want to read and not enough time. I want to train more in regards to running but daylight is getting more scarce. Oliver was attacked yesterday afternoon and came home all bloody, and Tatiana and I cleaned his wounds and I had to shut him inside this morning so he won't get the gash on his leg infected. Thankfully, he's fine and not even limping. Despite my steps toward enlightenment, I pissed off two men recently and I feel like I failed some sort of test, and felt impotent in the situations because I know I'm useless in helping them in their own fuckedupedness. I cannot seem to get my laundry all folded fast enough. I'm concerned there are dead, rotting rodents lying around the house that Oliver brought in, that I haven't found, yet.

I'm going running in 45 minutes, and I assume I'll feel better then.

When in doubt, go for a run :) Sorry to hear about your friend's health. That is scary. I drank some beer this past weekend too but, not into excess. I felt pretty good about it. Hang in there ;)

Nice! I wanted to run today, but wasn't able to. I'm going to try out my new jump rope sneaks tonight, though. :jump:

Jump rope sneaks? Interesting.....

On the beach I did 6 heel clicks, alternating sides. It was amusing to myself, and it bumped up my heart rate for a minute. :D

My jump rope sneaks are really for walking, but they have air pads under the balls of the feet and the heel. I'm hoping that takes some of the shock out of it. If not I will have wasted my money.

What are heal clicks? I'm picturing you jumping up and clicking your heals together. Is that it?
