Did you see the new shotgun designed for the military. It's sick!

That's possibly one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen :drooling:

Good god! 10 gauge! :svengo: Fully auto! :svengo: Ok nevermind, thanks for sharing!

What have you heard in the reviews?

"Canon G10 1.0 out of 5 stars HORRIBLE LOW LIGHT CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!,

By Objective analysis (Arizona) - See all my reviews

DOES NOT LIVE UP TO HYPE AT ALL...so far.

THIS IS A GREAT CAMERA... IF YOUR FAMILY VACATION PLANS ARE A TRIP TO THE CENTER OF THE SUN.......other than that it is a very very noisy low light camera.

So I agree with the other reviewer, if you are a bright light outside type, then get it,..... no problems there...nice!!!

If you bought into the low light DITCH-IT 4 processor hype, then it is a real let down.

My old 1 megapixel powershot (8 years old) did just as well, in the low light noise area...with zero image stabilization.

I will do some more tests, but so far this camera is a major let down.

Requires a lot of light, and looks like it has the RAW measles above ISO 200.

Honest, wait for more reviews to come in, by the way, I have a Rebel, an XTI, and an XSI as well. Also 4 other Canon Digitals, I am (was) a Canon fan, and thought this would be a breakthrough product...but it wasnt.

Simply cannot deliver on the hype.

Unless someone can get a better handle on the low light noise settings, it wouldnt take a Nostradamus to predict this camera will get yanked faster than the G9.

As usual if you try to compesate with one board flash, it has the Frankensteins lighted lightning labratory garish effect.

I dont really shoot JPEGS much so I dont know about those yet.
Pretty much shoot raw. XSI was less noisy in raw mode.

I really had hoped this would be the first practical digital do all art museum camera. I will try some more tests at the Detroit Art Institute on all types of light and media, but for now any hopes I might have had are shattered.

If you do have good indoor lighting at ISO 100 and 200 under good light the color is wonderful very nice pictures. In most museums they wont let you use flash, same with other artsy places. Wide angle is nice great museum camera from that perspective......but low light and Image stabilization are a must....."

I need a camera that works well in low light.
I had an old Sony Cybershot that was fucking awesome in many ways, and I checked out the new Cybershots, and they seem really cool:

"Sony Cybershot DSC-H10 5.0 out of 5 stars Great camera!, May 5, 2008

I exchanged a Canon SX100 for this camera, and I am so glad I did. This camera is lightening fast with flash shots (compared to the VERY SLOW Canon). Indoor pictures are great as well as outdoor. I have taken a ton of pictures and very few have been slightly blurry, most come out clear with good color. Flash looks natural, as opposed to the canon which would either over or under expose shots. I love that the camera is compact and small enough to fit in a regular camera case, but yet still has the long reach 10x optical zoom. I also love the 3" LCD.
Pros:
-Compact with 10x optical zoom
-3" LCD
-Good indoor photos
-No delay in between shots
-Battery meter always showing
-Slide show with music is too cool!

Cons: (Very minor and do not take away from camera at all)
-No automatic lens cover (has lens cap)
-No zoom in video mode (although if I want great video, I'll use my video camera)
-Comes with Shoulder strap - I prefer wrist strap (Fixed by ordering a wrist strap off ebay for $2)

If you want a compact camera with a lot of zoom and good quality pictures, definitely go with this one. The only other cameras that have same features: Canon SX100 (too slow between flash, indoor shots are not good), Panasonic TZ3 (reviews say picture quality not good), and Canon G9 (only has 6x zoom and has a hefty price tag). To me, the Sony is the way to go for the average shooter who mainly shoots in automatic mode but occasionally plays with other settings. I have owned for about a week, if anything changes, I will update my review, but so far - GREAT!!!!"

Alta! :hug2:

Sam: Absolutely. I have a huge crush on Charlie Murphy. He has such charisma, presence.....reminds me of Scooby Doo with all his teeth :D He just seems like a great guy to have some beer with. I hope he'll come out after his set--last time at the Improv I was able to hug and congratulate Bobby Lee.

SORRY I'M NOT UP IN YOUR DIARIES!!! Busy bunny, I'll drop in later--:grouphug:

I've come to the conclusion that I'm too cool for school, in regards to Yoga levels 1 and 2--I only have fun in Yoga 2-3 now. Seriously, man! :coolgleamA: Nah, but really, I love practicing, but I adore the intermediate/advanced series better than the beginner's classes. Last week Delana was gone, and although the substitutes were cool, I missed her :( Well yesterday she was back with a vengeance! And I intuitively know that she likes having me in class, and I was totally happy when she came over and corrected my form every so often :) Gawd, that sounds weird, but it's like attention and care, or TLC I guess.

Well....I went to the ex L.T.F.B.'s house last night. Boy, he put up a struggle! Took me forever to seduce him :ack2: Jeez! But it was well-needed. Two and a half months of introspection and celibacy is long enough, methinks. He is a strange one--absolutely adorable, but his loving body language does NOT match up to his insistence on being NOT involved with a girl. I know his history, though, so I pretty much understand him. It was really nice to cuddle up with him but I have no idea if he's open to me visiting again, or fairly regularly. Like I said before, he's a doll--looks 19 or 20, but is 28 years old! Beer belly, but fucking NICE upper body :drool5: And as sweet as can be....but don't worry about me. He has no ill intentions with me, and my intentions are making us both happier with mutual pleasure and that's essentially it, aside from the kick-it time. We truly enjoy each other's company.

Haven't been around a scale--belly dancing and Yoga 1-2 :p today. Ok it's time to see whaddup with y'all.........

Sounds like you had a good time last night. :reddevil:

Surprising about the Canon G10. I am a huge fan of the Canon SLRs, use the 40D at work. I have an older Olympus C8080 wide zoom that sounds like it works better than the G10.

I had a chance to play with one of Canon's pocket sized point and shoots... it was nice for that type of camera, but I know I'd find it pretty limiting after a while.

I have heard good and bad stuff about Canons. The ex's girlfriend is a total advocate, and her pictures rule, but my plans are to record the Dubstep sets I see--so low light, glowsticks waving, people dancing....damn near impossible for a camera to capture. But there's gotta be one out there for me! :smash:

The nicest thing about last night was KISSING. LAWRDY, I missed that the worst......

Hey lady! My supervisor in waaay into photography and uses a cannon and highly reccommends one. He is quite talented... I'll have to get you the link to his website. Most of his work is landscapes and wildlife... but its pretty aweseome.

Anywho! So what about kissing??? Do we get any details????

Happy Tuesday Gorgeous! :)

I KNEW you were going to say that! :rotflmao:

I'm pretty sure I raped him (the first time). Sigh! Not the first time I have, although no guys have ever pressed charges, thank goodness :)
