I'm making kidney beans and sausage in my crockpot. This is the first time I'm making beans from a bag and not a can. I rinsed and soaked them overnight and started to cook them in the crockpot on high with the sausage this morning. This was like over 2 hours ago and they are still hard and there's still a fair bit of water in there
I have it on high so I thought it would be done by now. I'm about to go to work for a few hours but I'll be able to come back for my break. Should I leave the crockpot on high or low for the next 5 hours? How much longer till its done?
